Third Person POV
Matthew Jones wandered around the school halls, wondering where Celestia might be. He had missed Celestia more than anything, he needed to see her.
As he looked at the floor, thinking, he bumped into a girl. "Watch where you're going!" The girl said.
Celestia.
As she rose to stand, Matthew held her wrist. "Celestia, please give me another chance, I am so sorry," he begged. Celestia laughed, coldly and humorlessly.
"Oh, you want a chance?" She snapped. "You've blown it before I even gave it to you!"
"Please," Matthew begged. Celestia stared at him in the eye. Her stone cold heart didn't even melt a bit. Her eyes were hardened and fierce, as she scoffed. "Honey, even if you were the last boy on earth, I would never want to be with you."
Celestia sneered.
Matthew's grip loosened, and Celestia spun on her heels, leaving.
Meanwhile, Charlotte Valestine was pacing around. Her eyes were dull and full of guilt, as she remembered all the things she did. When she saw Celestia pass by, she ran over to her.
"Celestia," Charlotte said, her voice quivering.
Celestia sighed. "What now, Valestine? I'm not in the mood." But Charlotte just bursted into tears.
"C- Celestia, I'm sorry! I'm sorry for being such a bitch to you! I was horrid!" She wailed. Celestia stared into Charlotte's eyes. She didn't find a single tint of lie.
She knew one thing.
Charlotte, was honestly, sincerely, asking for her forgiveness. Celestia felt a tap on her heart. It made her stubborn walls crack a bit. And so, she was so surprised at the words her mouth made.
"I forgive you."
Charlotte gaped. "Really?"
Celestia grew even more surprised as she pulled Charlotte into a hug. Charlotte gasped, but hugged back. "You were driven by jealousy, its alright." Celestia said, as she held Charlotte to arms length.
"Thank you, so, so much!" Charlotte squealed. "Don't date anymore jerks," Celestia warned playfully, and they both laughed.
As Celestia walked up to leave, Charlotte felt the burden on her heart lessen. She finally got forgiveness, and she was going to appreciate that.
Celestia hummed a song as she heard a car honk. It was her driver. Celestia heard her phone buzzing, vibrating in her pocket, and she picked it up.
Hey, Celly. Wanna hang at the usual park? I'm already there, but I can pick you up if you want. -CA.
Celestia smiled widely.
Sure! No need, my driver will drive me there. -CH.
She hopped in the car and said to Ian, her driver. "Take me to the park, near my house. Tell my parents I'm meeting a friend there." She ordered.
Ian simply nodded before driving.
AT THE PARK.
Celestia saw Christopher sitting on the bench where they reconciled, and walked over there. "Hey," she plopped down beside her best friend.
He kissed her cheek lightly, which made her blush. "Hey, Celestia. How was your day?" He asked, as he trailed his finger on a bruise on Celestia's right cheek.
The bruise that was meant for him.
The bruise that Matthew caused.
"Don't be surprised," Celestia warned, as she laid her head on his shoulder.
"I'll try," he said, sitting up a little straighter
"I forgave Charlotte–she was sincere, trust me– and I accepted the apology. Matthew begged for a second chance, but I sassed him out of it." Celestia informed, and looked at Christopher's dark eyes.
"I'm glad you forgave Charlotte," Christopher commented. "And I'm proud you sassed out Jones." He added.
Both of them burst into laughter, and Celestia grinned at him. "How did we ever fight?" She asked.
"I don't know, but that was the stupidest thing I ever did. Everything's better with you here," he said and leaned in.
Celestia wrapped her arms around him as they kissed. It was amazing, but there was one, tiny little detail missing that she didn't even know what.
"Celestia," he started.
"Yeah?" She asked, pulling away.
Then, Matthew asked the question Celestia would never thought he'd ever ask.
"Will you be my girlfriend?"
