Chapter 69: Hell's Hound

"King Leiodus, I understand what you are trying to do here. But really, sexual acts while talking with another King?"

Leiodus grinned, blue eyes darkened by energy and the lustful sensation coursing through his humanoid form. He willed a tendril of Black to exit the crevice it occupied, bringing it a hair's width beneath Aiden's chin. Amusement spread through the gleaming orbs, Leiodus vastly entertained by Aiden lifting his head to stay away.

"Do not worry, the Black is not a substance that bacteria can survive on. The women are also very clean, Aiden, but I suppose you don't know the aroma of enticing female arousal."

"I might be less offended if that's where your little friend just occupied, but it emerged from other places. Either way, while you could just kill me without much thought, if you don't get it out of my face, I'm going to bite the tip off."

Leiodus barked out more laughter, his tail bringing a cigar to his mouth. Aiden arched a brow. He did not think he'd ever seen the man's tail in his life.

Rising, Leiodus came to Aiden, his extension of Black still beneath Aiden's chin. In the place of it, Leiodus crooked a finger beneath the youngster's bearded jaw. He stared at Aiden for a moment, a curling smile never leaving his face.

"You know the joys of being a bully, Aiden? It's knowing that no matter how much they cry and curse your demise, they will always be weaker and you can always squash them when you please. The same motivation goes to the Gods." He trailed his finger up the side of Aiden's face, over the shell of his ear, before gripping a handful of hair. "Do you know what makes a God, Aiden?"

A tan jaw clenched beneath a bronzy blonde beard, "I'm sure you will tell me, Leiodus."

"Such an upstart little shit," Leiodus trailed around Aiden, his hand following suit around Aiden's neck. "A God is made from magic and the union of magical forces, but what keeps a God in godliness is the worship of anything that has the ability to praise their power. The more they ask to be blessed by the God's power, the more they pray and beg, the more powerful the God."

His nude form landed back at Aiden's front, hand back to Aiden's chin. "Do you know how many creatures of this world have praised me for longer than ten of your life spans? Then, by definition, does that not make me a God?"

Aiden's eyes shifted to the hand, the hand that was pleasuring a woman, the hand that smelled of Leiodus' activities. It grossed him out more than most men would be. He steered clear of women, he'd never had their flavor grace his beard before and he didn't want it now. "Your Highness if you would kindly...extract your...fragrant hand from my face, that would be a great favor to me." Thick and golden brows knit down over sloped eyes, "instead of answering, can I ask, what makes a Devil?"

"Why Devil, why not demon?"

"A Devil is a demon, but a demon is not a devil. Just as a king is a royal, but not all royals are kings. You are a devil, you have taken all a demon would crave, you've captured it, and now you personify it. So I ask you again, what makes a devil?"

Leiodus gave a dry chuckle, walking away from Aiden, his broad back rippling with muscles as he moved to the heavy desk which sat at the center back of his room. He propped against it, pale and proud erection still standing strong.

Aiden rolled his eyes. Of course, the man was endowed, looking at his son. Other than his broad body, beard, and short hair, Sega looked a lot like his father, which now seemed a bit disturbing. Aiden did not let his mind go down that train of thought.
