Part 2

Alexander's Pov

So mom has been gone for a couple of weeks now and well I've just been keeping myself busy with training .

I'm not like my mom she is into science and all that kind of stuff and I've always been more into animals and fighting .

Not normal fighting but like the vikings did or in the medieval times , so when I was 13 I kept on bugging my mom so much that she eventually agreed and got someone to train me in fighting with swords . After some time I got a couple of other teachers so I could learn more styles . At 14 I also learned the bow and even tho it didn't come as naturally as the sword I became pretty good , I do some hunting with it and even have set up 30 targets trough the trees nearby so I can do that route with my horse . Now that was even worse shooting a bow while your riding a horse . 

So yeah now I'm 18 and I'm pretty good , I hit my targets on and  off the horse and all my teachers said they have nothing more to teach me . 

Finishing my thoughts and my dinner I place my plate into the dishwasher and take a seat on the couch . As I turn on the TV I hear something walk in behind me and I already know who it is. 

" Well hello Fenrir " I state as my companion and best friend plops himself next to me with his head on my lap . 

Stroking my hand trough his fur I scroll trough the TV channels before a emergency news allert pops up .

"Russia and China have launched there nuclear bombs onto the United States " the news announcer states and with that I've heard enough and run out of the room .

Mom always prepared for something like this and built a decent siced bunker under the house . Running outside I make my way quickly to the stables and open the boxes .

"Come on guys go somewhere save " I state as I wave my hands around and with that my 6 horses take of running .

Quickly making my way back I get to the elevator " come on Fen hurry " I practically yell and my companion runs into the elevator.  

As we reach the floor I release a deep breath and put on the security alarm and lock the gates so that no unwanted people can get in .  Atleast the horses made it out the gates before I closed them .

Taking a seat behind the computer I turn it on and watch the news while I at the same time try to call my mother but it's not working .

" Come on mom " I say as  I call her again but it's  no use as I feel the the ground slightly shake and with that I know the bombs are hitting the ground. 

Feeling tears leave my eyes I rub my eyes and hold back a sob . As I know the world will never be the same , the United States would have fired there own nukes back and the whole world will now be coverd in radiation. 

Placing my head on the desk I try to think about what would be the best option for now , and well there is alot of food and even seeds in the bunker but it would take years for me to be able to go out . Mom also has placed two crypods in here so maybe I should just go to sleep and wait it out .

If mom is able to make it back here she'll be able to wake me up before the timer I will set.  Of course she'll make it back she's smart and will find a way .

After some calculations I find out that it would be safe for me to go out after 97 years .

" Shit 97 years you have got to be fucking kidding me " I say as anger consumes me and I connect my fist with the nearby wall . 

" Well Fen it's time for a nap boy " I say as I stoke his fur and we both walk over to the room that has the two crypods in it .

As I open one of them " Come on up " I say to Fenrir and he jumps up and lays down on it .
