Alexander's Pov

So after Clarke got the others I told them what A.L.I.E said to me and well they where in shock. I told them to keep this information between us since well if we do tell people everybody will start freaking out and chaos will run trough the clans . I've asked Raven to look into it so we are sure that A.L.I.E told the truth but I don't think she lied .

"Let's head out " I say as I sitting on top of Rolo . Me and Lexa need to head back to Polis to deal with the probable mess that the city is in right now . And Clarke , Bellamy and Octavia are joining us to take back there people .

"I'll ride with you "Clarke says and my eyes furrow . Don't get me wrong woudnt mind it but you know married man right now and I think Lexa would rip the girls head off .

"I-i I uhm " I nervously start as I rub the back of my neck but I soon hear Lexa voice pull me out of my thoughts .

"I'll go with Bellamy and Octavia " Lexa states and I think my jaw just hit the center of earth.

"Lexa ?" I quistion the girl but she just gives me a small smile before walking over to the truck . Think I need to check Lexa once we get back in Polis to make sure A.L.I.E didn't take her over in some way like what?

"So seems like I'm riding with you " Clarke says with a small smirk and I look down with my eyes wide open .

"Join them , I'll ride alone " I try to say with power but it didn't leave my lips with that .

"No, now help me up " Clarke states as she puts her hand out for me to take but I just sit in shock on Rolo.

"I'll be fi-" I try but the girl cuts me off
"Now Alex "

Rolling my eyes I grab Clarke's hand and pull her ontop of Rolo behind me and she immediately wraps her arms around my abdomen making my cheeks slightly heat up.

"Are you two ready ?" Bellamy asks me as he stops the truck next to me and I give him a small nod before nudging Rolo forward .

After riding for 2 hours in silence I finnaly hear Clarke speak up .

"I miss you " she whispers as i feel her lay her head against my shoulder and I take a deep breath.

"I'm sorry " I whisper and I feel her hold on me increase.

"I never wanted any of this " I continue as I keep my eyes on the dirt road infront of me .

The others are probably miles and miles infront of us right now they are in a car I'm on a horse , sure Rolo is fast but he can't gallop for 6 hours straight so I told them to go ahead and that we would catch up eventually.

"Do you love her ?" Clarke whispers and shit here we go . Having this conversation in the middle of a dirt road ontop of a horse while we just found out the world is ending again in six months .

Sure I care about Lexa, but do I love her like that I'm not sure . With Clarke it was just so natural and with Lexa my hand was forced. Sure feelings came after time but would I say I'm in love with her I don't think I would.

"I do love her but not like that " I whisper and I feel Clarke take her hands off my body .

"Do you love me ?" She whispers and I feel tears start to slowly leave my eyes .

"I do , you'll always be the one I wanted but never could have " I whisper as I look down in shame.

Feeling her hands snake back around my abdomen I look down and see my tears dropping on her hands .

"I love you too Alex " she whispers and I feel her place a small kiss on the back of my neck .

And after that it was silent again I'm not sure what to say and neither is Clarke so I lift my head back up and start galloping towards Polis. After another 5 hours of riding we finnaly reach Polis and I ride Rolo into the towns square and this place looks like a mess there are huge wooden crosses with blood over them and blood filling the streets. What the fuck happend here ?
