Part 27

Alexander's Pov

As Titus leads all the people out of the room , I release a breath I didn't know I was holding .

"Are you alright " Lexa says and I give the girl a small nod as I sit down on the steps . I just need a minute,  I'm married , Married sheesh . 

I always thought I would have a ceremony at the field home by the rocks as the sun was setting and well mom and Fenrir would be there . But It seems fate had diffrent plans for me .

Feeling a hand on my arm I look over and see Lexa sitting next to me . "I'm alright,  how are you ?" I ask her as I feel her intertwine our hands together.

"It feels so unreal " she says and I just nod my head at her . Standing up I pull her up with me since well we should head towards the other .

"Let me grab my speaker and phone then we can head down " I say and with that we walk out of the throne room .

As me and Lexa would out of the tower we start our journey towards the square with my speaker in hand its a   good thing it's a JBL boom box  so that we can all enjoy the music. 

Reaching the square I see there is a long wooden table and a large bonfire as well as torches lighting the whole place . To be honest it doesn't look all bad .

As we reach the table I see all eyes are on us and welp let's just start drinking and have fun . I'm not gonna sit at that Damm table the whole evening. 

Placing my speaker down on the table I grab Lexa's hand and walk us to the front of the table .

"We wanna thank you all for joining us today.  I know for the last 97 years life has been about survival but I hope from this day forward it will be about more than that . I hope our clans and people will live together in peace and prosperity. " I say and I see them all hanging onto every word I'm saying. 

"Life should be about love and friendship , to see our children grow up and have fun in a world that isn't at war ." I continue and I feel Lexa intertwine our hands together again . Looking at her I give her a small smile before looking back at the grounders infront of me .

"Will you help us visualize this , will you help us make a better world for our children and the generations to come " I yell and they all start yelling yes and chanting heda .

Raising my hand the people quite down and I give them a small smile before grabbing my phone and connecting it to my speaker .

"So with  that being said my friends let us party " I yell and start playing some music to much suprise of the grounders who are taken aback from  the sound coming out of the speaker. 

Looking around the people who are starting to drink and enjoy the evening my eyes finnaly meet hers and i look down in shame. I can't even look at her I know she told me to give Lexa a chance but still I wish things where diffrent I would have loved to see what we could have been . But we didn't even get the chance .

"Are you oke?" Lexa whispers in my ear as she moves us toward the table and we sit down in the middle .

"I'm fine " I say as I grab the cup with alcohol in it and down it within a second . Looking at Lexa I give her a small smile before saying "you look beautiful Lexa "

"Thank you , you look handsome " she says and I give the girl a small smile , to be honest I still think i look like I rolled out of Game of Thrones but ow well .

"Heda " I hear someone say and I look up to see Roan approaching us , as he bow I just prepare myself for what's gonna come , I did kill his mother .

"Roan , please stand " I say as I keep my head held high . "I know what my mother did can never be undone but I hope you will accept my apology for her actions " he says and why the hell is he apologizing for his mother's actions .
