Chapter 46

TW- Swearing.

In the 5 days leading up to out departure for San Diego, a lot happened. Let me give you a quick rundown.

~~Day One~~

The day started off like any other with me making Tyra and I breakfast. She signed in for her online school and I worked out until lunch. We made lunch together and ate together like we do most days while talking and then the time came for her to get back to her studies. I left her to it but was within earshot if she needed anything.

~~Day Two~~

As usual, Tyra had her school work to do so I cleaned up the house in the morning after breakfast. Stopping to snack and to make sure we both stayed hydrated. Once lunch was done, I sat in the living room scrolling through social media when I got a call from Sheamus. "Hey Toni, how are ya?" He asked as I answered the phone. He started calling me Toni because he says my name is too long, when he said that I laughed. Since my move to SmackDown, we've been spending more time together and I'm one a few people close to him that he lets call him by his real name but I just call him Ste.

"Hey Ste, yeah I'm good. What's up?" I said, "Not much, I was just wondering how you and Tyra are getting to the airport in a few days?" He replies. "I was gunna drive us, why do you ask?" I asked him curiously. He chuckled, "No reason, just wanted to know because I was thinking-" he started but I cut him off. "Ooo be careful there Mr. Farrelly, you could cause some serious harm." I say laughing a little and he laughs also, "Ha fucking Ha ya cheeky bitch. Anyways, as I was saying I was thinking about it and by all means say no but I thought maybe I could pick you two and we could drive to the airport together." He says finishing his thought. I couldn't help but smile and said, "Yeah that sound great. Thank you Ste."

~~Day Three~~

Tyra's school, along with most schools, was closed for a teacher training day so she spent it out with her friends. I gave her some money to take because she said they may go to the mall to go shopping so I gave her enough for whatever she wanted and some food if she got hungry.

I worked out, watched movies and played some video games before settling on scrolling through social media - like I always end up doing - but today was different. Today I saw something that kind of crushed me. What I saw broke my heart a little if I'm being honest. I was scrolling through my Instagram feed and came across a couple pictures Demi posted; apparently she got back with her ex because a few minutes ago she made a post of the two of them kissing and being all cuddly. Bianca called not long after to check up on me. She along with Sheamus, Liv, Becky and Seth were the few I told about me adopting Tyra - as well as my bosses of course.

~~Day Four~~

I spent the day sorting through my closet for stuff I was going to pack for the trip to San Diego. Tyra was adamant about making her own food and drinks today so I allowed her too, on the condition I checked in with her a times to make sure she had eaten which she was okay with.

By the time 5pm rolled around, I had my large suitcase packed with clothes; a couple pairs of shoes; accessories and a few ring gear options. I also had my carry-on bag packed with essentials, all I needed to pack tomorrow night was my makeup; hairbrush; toothbrush and toothpaste.

I made dinner with what we had left in the kitchen as I decided that tomorrow night we would get take-out. After dinner, I helped Tyra pack her luggage for the trip and we went to bed.

~~Day Five~~

It was the day before we left for San Diego and it went as I usually did. Tyra had online school from 8am til 3:30pm while made sure we were feed, hydrated and we had everything packed. I offered for Sheamus to stay over so he didn't have to get up early just to come pick us up and he agreed. The three of us watched movies and had pizza for dinner. Eventually it was time for Tyra to head to bed so I made sure she packed the last of her essentials and returned to the living room to Sheamus. We stayed up a little longer before I grabbed a spare blanket, pillows and pulled out the built-in bed my couch had for him. I headed to bed myself and set my alarm ready for the morning.
