Chapter 105

As the days went by, we all got to know Tyson more and he became a great friend to all of us. He would help in any way he could. After discovering who sent the supernaturals after Demi, we decided that moving sooner would be better; so that's what we did. We decided who would stay in what room and we moved everything from my house to Demi's; whatever we didn't have or needed, we ordered online and had it delivered. About a week later, the house was fully furnished and everyone was moved in. Tyson even fixed the cracked floor in the entrance hall.

Upon Tyra's request, I contacted Athena and I went to visit her. I told her everything that had happened and explained that Tyra, Demi and I had a discussion about her living with us; saying that it would make Tyra really happy if she moved in too. She agreed and within a couple of days, Athena had a fully decorated room and whatever she couldn't bring with her was stored in the garage at my house. I decided not to sell my house, instead I offered it up as a place to hang out for everyone.

~~Time Skip~~

It was the morning of my 12 week appointment. My doctor wanted to keep a close eye on me for the time being because of me telling her I had a hysterectomy at 16 but ending up pregnant a decade later, she didn't want to risk anything. Demi offered to drive me because I wasn't feeling 100% today so she came with me; Tyra stayed home with the dogs, Athena and Tyson.

My name had just been called and we were shown to the examination room. The nurse asked me to sit on the bed and said the doctor would be in shortly. I did as I was asked with Demi by my side and a few minutes later Dr. Fisher entered, "Payton, how are you doing today? You're looking a little pale." she asked. "Not feeling that great today." I told her, "Okay, can you describe it?" she questions and I try my best to explain how I felt. "The past couple of days I've been really tired, dizzy sometimes, headaches and no energy to do anything. Demi had to drive me here today." I say and the doctor goes quiet for a moment, "So, it sounds like you have an iron deficiency. I'll prescribe you some iron suppliments once we've checked on baby okay." she says and I nod.

I was asked to lay down and lift my top to expose my stomach so I did. Dr. Fisher got everything ready and applied the cold gel to my belly before using the wand to look at my baby. Demi was stood by my side holding my hand when Dr. Fisher looked at me with a smile, "Well, baby is looking healthy for 12 weeks, strong heatbeat too." she says as she turns the screen...

She presses a button and the babies heartbeat can be heard. I start to tear up like I've done at every appointment with a smile on my face as I look at my baby. Dr. Fisher finishes up and prints off some pictures for me as well as giving me the prescription she mentioned before we left the doctors office. We stopped off at a pharmacy on the way home and Demi went in to pick it up. When we got home Athena asked how it went, so I told everyone present and showed them the pictures prior to going to lay down for a nap.

Demi made sure I woke up to eat and to make sure I drank something throughout the day. When dinner time rolled around, she woke me up and helped me downstairs. Demi, Tyra, Athena, Tyson and I all sat around the table while we talked and laughed as we ate. Eventually, we all toddled off to bed for the night.
