Chapter 103

Without wasting time, I messaged Damian back. Telling him and Sheamus to quietly make their way around to the back door, that I'd be waiting by it but they couldn't speak once they were near the house. I still kept a close ear on what was happening with Demi and the others, I didn't want to leave her alone with them any longer then she needed to be.

It didn't take them long to appear at the back door. I opened it silently, using the air to soften the movement and eliminate noise. Once the two were inside, I closed the door again; repeating the use of the air. I led them back to where I was hidden before just in time to hear someone say, "What could you possibly do, you're alone." so I stood and signalled the two men to stay put.

"Who said she was alone." I said as I stepped out and into their view. The four supernaturals laughed, "A human. What could a human do to us?" one said.  I smirked and said, "What makes you so sure that I'm human?" as I crossed my arms over my chest. "Your scent is human, which makes you human." The same one says and now I'm the one to laugh, "Oh you don't know how wrong you are." I say as I calm down. "A scent can be misleading but yours..." I start and gesture to the six people, "However, are not. One sniff and I could identify what each of you are." I finish.

"I highly doubt that but please, enlighten us." A beautiful women sang. I walked closer and stopped infront of the first person who spoke...

"Vampire." I said at his sickly sweet scent. I quickly identify the two humans and move on to the next person in line - the beautiful woman...

"Mermaid or Siren, I should say." I said at her fishy scent and move on...

"Satyr." I said to the man stood next to her at his earthy scent. I stop when I get to the last person and look him over. The legends certainly didn't do his kind justice, they are way more captivating...

After taking a sniff of the air around him I smirk, knowing I was right. "Dragon." I state proudly at his smoldering fire scent and his eyes widen slightly, "You're wrong, he is shapeshifter. Dragons don't exist anymore." the vampire said. I chuckled darkly while still looking at the dragon hybrid, "Then he has fooled you all. His scent is unique and can only belong to that of a Dragon. I can feel the fire burning in his stomach as we speak and my nose never lies." I explain then turn away and move to stand next to Demi.

They all look confused except the Dragon, he looks shocked that I figured him out. "H-how." He stutters, making me look at him again, " I told you, my nose never lies. I have the best sense of smell, comparable to none. Also, I'm not human." I told him. "Now that's been cleared up, what do you want? What is your goal here?" I ask them. "Boss man what's her." The satyr said and pointed at Demi, "Why?" I ask. "We don't know, all we were told was to come get her and given this address." The vampire said, "Who is your boss?" I question.

"We can't tell you." The vampire says after a few moments of silence, "Can't or won't? Because either way you will. Even if I have to beat it out of you." I said calmly. I manipulate the air to lock the door without anyone noticing and turn to Demi, "Can you go get my phone from the living room please." I say before pulling her in for a hug. "The boys are round the corner waiting. Stand with them and wait for me to shift." I whisper so only she could hear me and pull away. She does as I ask and I turn back to the four supernaturals.

"So, here's how this is going to go. You can either tell me who your boss is willingly or we could fight and when I win, I'll make you tell me." I state and they laugh again, "You, beat us. You alone against four, yeah right." the satyr chuckles. A smirk makes it's way onto my face, "Who said I was alone?" I say and shift...

As I shake my wings loose and stand tall, three dangerous snarls could be heard from behind me and three wolves round the corner...

The humans scream and run for the door. The four supernaturals have shock written all over their faces as they slowly step back, "You see, I am not alone. Although I can take all of you on myself, I thought I'd make it seem fair." I tell them and shift back into my human form.
