Chapter 80

Jax and I communicated in growls, snarls and barks. We could understand each other perfectly but to the members of The Judgement Day and Sheamus, it just sounded like growls, snarls and barks. Jax's wolf stood at almost 3ft tall but mine stood at almost 5ft tall. Before he could do anything else, I turned and lead Jax into the garage; thankfully the door was left open.

Our wolves circled each other in the centre of the room, he jumped forward but I jumped too. I tilted my body to the left slightly as I did and snapped at him. Upon landing, I swiftly turned to him and charged forward. Catching him offguard, I knock him over and clamp my jaw down on his throat but not enough to cause serious injury. "Stand. Down." I snarled as he tried to escape my grasp. I dig my claws into his side when he doesn't stop, "Stand. Down. Jax." I snarled again.

He manages to kick me off, causing me to smack into one of the concrete columns. That's when I feel it. The pain from last night but this time, I don't fight it. No, I let it take over. I close my eyes and let it change my form once again. Seconds later, I open my eyes again to see Jax cowering back. "No." He whimpers, "It cannot be."

I stand tall and shake out my wings...

Demi, Sheamus, Damian, Finn and Dom were stood by the door with the dogs watching the encounter between us. He started stalking towards me slowly with his teeth bared like his was challenging me and that was when I felt something within me change, it was like a dorment switch had been activated.

I now knew what I had to do.

I stood tall. A dominating aura surrounding me. With a commanding growl and a stomp of my front right paw, "Jax. Stand. Down." I state in my new found alpha voice. He paused in his movements before whimpering and bowing in submission, even Barry and Luna bowed. I walked over to him and knocked him to the floor before holding him down with a paw, "Jax Dawson, you are hearby banished from this pack. Once you have shifted, you will leave my house and never return. If you do, there will be severe consequences. Am I understood?" I say firmly. He nods but that's not be good enough, "Am I UNDERSTOOD?" I repeat threateningly as I dig my claws into his side again. "Yes." He whines out, "Yes what?" I command. "Yes Alpha." He whimpers, "Good. Now leave." I spat as I remove my paw and step away.

Jax shifts back and runs out. I close my eyes, take a couple of deep breathes and focus on shifting back but a pained yelp stops me, my eyes snap open and towards the source. I find Demi on her hands and knees, clutching her ribs as she groans in pain. I sniff the air, trying to figure out what was happening but the only thing different was Demi's scent. It was still familiar but there was something else to it, then it hit me.

The additional scent was that of a wolf.

My eyes widened, "Get her to the centre of the room. Quickly." I call out to the guys. Damian did as I asked and picked her up, placing her back down near where I stood. "I know you probably don't want too but I need all of you to leave the room. The dogs as well." I say and they all nod before leaving the room with the dogs, closing the door behind them. I turn my attention back to Demi, "Dems, I need you to embrace the pain." I tell her calmly. She tries to speak but can't, "I know it hurts baby but trust me okay, don't fight it." I say, trying to reassure her and thankfully she listens.

She closes her eyes and takes a deep breath. Instantly, she shifts before my very eyes. Even as a wolf she still looks beautiful. She stands on shaky legs and opens her eyes...

"W-what happened?" I hear her ask mentally. I chuckle and reply, "Look down at your feet... Or paws, I should say." Her eyes widen then she looks down, "The fuck." she exclaims. "Calm down and I'll tell you how to shift back." I say still chuckling and once she does, I explain how to shift. With both of us back in our human forms, we leave the room and explain to the guys what happened. They took the information well and all agreed to be there for her in the same way they are for me.

The pizza arrived as I was helping Demi and Tyra had already collected hers so the rest of us walked back out to the pool where we sat, ate, talked and laughed. After a little while, I wanted to get in the pool so put my hair down and I took off my shirt...

To reveal the bikini I had on underneath...

And dove into the pool, not bothering to look at anyones reaction. I resurfaced a few moments later and everyone was looking at me, practically drooling. I smirked and said, "What?" innocently. We enjoyed our afternoon in the pool before it was time for dinner so I ordered takeout for Demi, Damian, Sheamus, Finn, Dom, Tyra and myself. The TJD boys and Sheamus left after Tyra went to bed, Demi and I going to bed not long after.
