Marcy's eyes slowly opened as she woke up. Yawning, she sat up, wiping the rheum from her eyes, mumbling to herself "What time is it..." with a little hum as she did so.

Marcy looked around the bed for a moment before finding her phone, she lazily grabbed it and checked the screen, squinting her eyes at the bright light that blinded her, "11:56..." she spoke aloud, "Nearly fourteen hours of sleep, and yet I'm still tired." she complained. The ravenette stretched her arms up, pouting a bit as she hummed from the feeling.

As soon as Marcy got out of bed, she headed to the kitchen—hopefully she could find something to eat, she was not in the mood to go out, especially after what happened the day before.

Marcy sighed, moving some hairs out of her mouth as she made her way to the kitchen, she still hadn't figured out what she was going to do about her whole 'hearing a million dead people in her head' thing, but she definitely had to figure out soon, she really didn't like having to rely on medicine, maybe she could figure it out with some old Marcy tactics?

Marcy chuckled to herself, thirteen-year-old Mar-Mar was something else.

Once Marcy got to the kitchen, all thoughts of the core left her mind, because sitting on the counter was a small box of strawberry pop-tarts and a small piece of paper laying on top of it. And when she went to look at the paper, it was from her favorite people living on this earth.

It was from Anne and Sasha.

Marcy felt her heart skip a beat, how were they so cute?

Marcy felt her heart skip a beat, how were they so cute?

The ravenette let out a little squeal, shaking her hand back and forth as she read the note again, she probably could've found the box herself, but they put it out for her because they cared! Those two were the best thing to happen to her, she was sure of it.

'𝕆𝕙, 𝕨𝕙𝕒𝕥 𝕤𝕒𝕡𝕡𝕪 𝕝𝕚𝕥𝕥𝕝𝕖 𝕥𝕙𝕠𝕦𝕘𝕙𝕥𝕤 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕒𝕣𝕖 𝕙𝕒𝕧𝕚𝕟𝕘.'

Marcy huffed, sitting her note down with her huff, "Fine!" she grumbled, "I'll take my stupid medicine..."

'𝔸𝕨, 𝕨𝕙𝕪? 𝔸𝕣𝕖𝕟'𝕥 𝕨𝕖 𝕘𝕠𝕠𝕕 𝕔𝕠𝕞𝕡𝕒𝕟𝕪, 𝕄𝕒𝕣-𝕄𝕒𝕣?'

Marcy let out a snort, grabbing her pill bottle and shaking a piece into her hand, "I'm ignoring you," she declared, popping the pill into her mouth and swallowing. "Goodbye, Darcy."

The core let out a monstrous laugh, the sound echoing off the innards of her brain,

'𝔾𝕠𝕠𝕕𝕓𝕪𝕖, 𝕄𝕒𝕣𝕔𝕪.'

Darcy laughed out, their voices overlapping.

'𝔸𝕥 𝕝𝕖𝕒𝕤𝕥 𝕗𝕠𝕣 𝕟𝕠𝕨.'
