Chapter 29: Fifty Shades of Gab

We can never turn back time. And we can never bring back what's already gone.

"I still care for you..."

I looked at myself in the mirror and sighed.

He still cares for me. That's what he said. Pero bakit?

Someone knocked on the door. "Miss Kim?"

I headed to the door and opened it. "Manang."

"Para po sa inyo." Sabi ni Manang sabay abot ng isang malaking bouquet of pink tulips.

Napangiti ako. "Kanino daw galing?"

"Hindi ko rin po alam." She said sabay kamot sa ulo. "Pina-deliver lang din yan eh."

I nodded. "Sige po. Thank you."

Umalis na siya. I close the door and headed to my bed. Umupo ako sa gilid habang nakatitig sa bouquet. Kanino kaya galing to?

I searched for a note, pero wala naman. Napa-ngiti ulit ako when I thought of someone na pwedeng magbigay sa akin nito. This is the first time na binigyan niya ako ng flowers. Plus pogi points for him kasi alam niya yung favorite ko.

My phone suddenly rang. I grabbed it from the bedside table. Hindi pa rin nawala ang ngiti ko.

"Gab." I said sabay amoy sa flowers.

"Nandito na ako sa baba." He said.

I placed the bouquet on my bed as I stood up. "Okay, I'm coming. Bye."

I ended the call, got my bag from my desk and headed out my room.

Paglabas ko mismo ng gate, nakita ko siyang nakasandal sa kotse niya, with his shades on.

"Bago na naman ang car mo?" I asked as I crossed my arms.

Tinanggal niya yung sunglasses niya. "Nope. Hindi mo ba to naaalala? I used this one nung first time natin magmeet."

"Milagro yata? Bakit? Naghihirap ka na ba?" I joked.

"Hindi ba pwede special muna bago naghihirap?" He chuckled. "Yung sportscar ko, hiniram muna ni Drew. Nagpapasikat kasi sa bagong nililigawan niya eh."

"Tsk! Forever playboy na talaga yun." I said. "Tara na nga! Baka ma-late pa tayo."

He opened the door for me bago siya pumasok. He started to drive.

I looked at him. "Thank you nga pala sa flowers ha. Paano mo nga pala nalaman na tulips ang favorite ko?"
