She is just someone from the past. I shouldn’t let her get in my life again. She’s just a stranger now,  a stranger from the past.

I scan through the pages of the scrapbook that I’ve found in my closet. Bigay to ni Kim, when we were still together. She gathered all the photos that we have, simula nung nag-kakilala kami, pati na yung photos namin during our dates.

“I didn’t know you still have that.” My brother commented when he got in our room.

I almost jump out from my bed sa gulat. I looked at him, then back to the scrapbook I was holding.

“Wag ka ngang mang-gulat! And about this trash? I just saw it with my old stuffs.” I said and stood up. “Hindi ko pala nasali sa mga nasunog ko.”

He chuckled and got his phone from the bedside table. “You can’t fool me bro. Alam ko namang tinago mo talaga yan.”

I gave him a glare. “I don’t hide things that reminds me off my ex. Unlike you.”

He chuckled again. “Saab’s my ex. But she’ll still be my present. Kaya okay lang.”

“At isa pa, hindi ko pwedeng itapon si Sari, kawawa naman yung baby namin ni Saab.” He continued. “Wag ka nalang kasing bitter.”

Sometimes, I just hate talking with my brother. Pag si Kim kasi yung topic namin, he just loves to make me feel guilty about everything that happened. Mas kinakampihan pa niya si Kim, instead of me na kapatid niya.

“Hindi ako bitter.” I snapped. “At hindi si Sari yung tinutukoy ko. I’m referring to that photo she took.”

Yung photo ni niya na kuha dati ni Ate Saab, he’s still keeping it. Kahit sobrang laki, pinalagay pa talaga niya sa kwarto namin. I just don’t know if he did it dahil sa memories niya with Ate Saab, or he’s just being narcissistic.

“Eh di hindi.” He said as he put on his sneakers. “At isa pa, inggit ka lang talaga. Mag-pagawa ka kaya ng sa’yo? Dinadamay mo pa yang picture ko.”

“Tss.” I snorted. “I don’t need that bro. May billboard ako sa EDSA, its bigger.”

“Yabang! Meron din naman ako no! Hindi nga lang solo.” he commented, sabay tayo at inayos ang damit niya. “By the way, I just would like to tell you something.”

I looked at him intently. “Ano?”

He stared at me. “Just so you know… bumalik na siya.”

Kumunot ang noo ko, then I looked away. “Alam ko.”

“Alam mo?” he asked. He looked shocked at first, then finally he grinned. “So, akala ko ba, you’re not into her anymore? Eh ba’t updated ka yata?”

I rolled my eyes and made my way to the corner of our room kung saan nandun yung trash bin.
