Destiny must be playing with me. I know things could be possible. At possibleng si Gab ang manliligaw ni Kim. But I still don’t have a proof na si Gab nga yun. And I’m still hoping it’s not him. Kahit sino, wag lang si Gab. I know him and all the things he does. Sasaktan niya lang si Kim.
“It can’t be him.” I mumbled as I looked at myself in the mirror after washing my face.
It’s been bugging me for about a week now. I remembered the conversation I had with my friends. Siguradong sigurado si Cholo na Kim ang pangalan ng nililigawan ni Gab. Cholo’s different from those guys in my circle. Whatever he says, is true.
“You know what guys, I think Gab has changed.” he said. “And I think that’s because of Kim.”
“Paano ka naman nakakasigurado dun?” singit ni Drew. “I don’t think kayang magseryoso ni Gab. We all know him bro.”
“Baka naman na challenge lang?” tanong ni Francis. “You know Gab likes hard to get girls.”
“Pero pwede rin namang in love na siya diba?” Cholo insisted.
Muntik ko ng maibuga ang iniinom ko. I was just listening to their conversation. Hindi pa rin mawala sa isip ko kung sinong Kim ang tinutukoy nila. A part of me is saying that it’s Kim, may ex girlfriend. Pero a part of me is saying na kapangalan niya lang. actually, I’m hoping it’s another girl. Another girl named Kim. After all, maraming may pangalang Kim. Pero somehow I’m scared to know that she might be my ex girl friend. Kasi after all, it’s a small world.
“You want a bet?” Cholo challenged.
Napatingin kami lahat sa kanya. This is the first time na siya ang nagyayang makipag-pustahan. He was never like this. As if he was so sure na tama siya.
“Siguradong sigurado ka yata ah?” tanong ni James.
Cholo chuckled. “I can feel it bro. And you guys know, na lahat ng kutob ko, nagkakatotoo.”
My train of thoughts was cut off when I heard someone knock.
“Bro tapos ka na?” I heard my brother ask. “Ako naman! May date kami ni Saab eh.”
I wiped my face with a towel and made my way out the restroom.
“Ang tagal mo naman! Nanghilamos ka lang naman pala.” Reklamo niya.
“Magkikita talaga kayo ni Achi Saab?” I asked. “Nang ganito ka aga?”
He grinned. “Actually mamaya pang lunch. Siyempre magpapa-pogi pa ako no!”
I shook my head in disbelief at tinalikuran siya and made my way out our room. My brother’s really crazy in love with Achi Saab. And he’s lucky, at nagka-second chance pa siya – silang dalawa.
They broke up a few years ago. And now they’re starting over again. I didn’t know na possible pala yun. And kung possible yun with my brother and Achi Saab, could it be possible for me and Kim as well?
