The Youngest Gilbert (New Rewrite)

The Grill pt.1

The two sisters pull up to the Mystic Grill to meet Stefan.
As Y/n is about to get out of the vehicle, Elena stops her.

"Stefan invited a few other people to come just a heads up" Elena says.

"Why didn't you tell me earlier, it's not a heads up if I just hear about it now" Y/n says with a sigh.

"I know I know but I didn't want you to not come because there were more people" Elena says with a big smile.

"Okay let's go then" Y/n says.

The two girls get out of the vehicle to go into the Mystic Grill.
Y/n sees all of her closest friends, Stefan, Rebekah, Caroline, Matt, Bonnie and her brother Jeremy.

"Hey little Gilbert" Matt says hugging Y/n.

"Hey Matt, how's work?" Y/n asks.

"Egh it's a job" Matt says with a laugh.

"HEY what about me" Caroline says coming over to hug Y/n.

"Care I can't breathe" Y/n says out of breath.

"Oh right sorry I always forget about the Vampire strength" Caroline says letting go of Y/n.

"Hey I missed you being around, without you it's hard to stand most of the group" Rebekah says with a smirk and hugs Y/n.

"I missed you too Becca, and the group means well"
Y/n says.

"Yeah yeah I know, you remind me all of the time" Rebekah says.

" Hey Y/n how are you?" Stefan asks Y/n.

"Hey Stef I'm good, how are you?" Y/n says.

"That's good and I'm doing fine but Damon is giving me a hard time" Stefan says.

"Ha when does he not?" Caroline says with a laugh.

Everyone in the group laugh knowing how Damon acts towards all of them.

"So we should order" Jeremy says.

"Yeah," Everyone says in the group.

"Y/n can I talk to you for a sec" Bonnie asks Y/n.

"Yeah Bon sure" Y/n says.

Bonnie and Y/n walk a bit further from the group so Bonnie can talk to Y/n.

"Hey how are you feeling?" Bonnie asks Y/n.

Bonnie asks her this question all of the time ever since her parents passed because she confided in Bonnie and told her how she felt alone and when Jenna died she felt lost without her being there, all the shopping trips, coffee dates, movie nights they did together. Jenna always told her how she was like a daughter to her and Y/n always saw Jenna as a second Mom.

"I'm really okay Bon, don't worry I'm doing better" Y/n says.

"Okay I just want you to know if you ever need to talk I'm here for you" Bonnie says.

"Thanks Bon that means a lot" Y/n says while hugging Bonnie.

Bonnie and Y/n walk back to the group who are all laughing and talking.

"Hey welcome back, we were just talking about our girls trip coming up soon" Caroline says.

"Yeah I can't wait to let loose and have some fun" Elena says.

"Yeah this will be Y/n's first girls trip as an official adult who can drink legally" Bonnie smirks.

"Yeah which means we're gonna get crazy" Caroline says.

"I can agree with you on that Caroline" Rebekah says.

"Hey Jeremy how do you feel about your little sister getting crazy?"Matt asks with a laugh.

"Yeah I'm trying not to, but I know my sister and she's too innocent to get crazy" Jeremy ruffles Y/n's hair.

"We'll teach her our ways" Caroline says with a large mischievous smile.

"Yeah we'll show her how to party hard, how they did it in the 70's" Rebekah says.

"The 70's was a crazy time" Damon says walking into the Grill.
