Y/n was finally able to go back to the Gilbert house now that the vampire Stefan was unsure about was just Enzo.

Y/n wakes up looking around her room in the Gilbert house to see Damon at the foot of her bed watching her sleep.

"Good morning Sunshine" Damon smiles down at her.

"Good morning why are you here?" she asks with a confused smile.

"I came to see you" he rolls his eyes smiling.

"Why?" she looks at him even more confused.

"Because I wanted to see you" he rolls his eyes again with a small scoff.

"Ok hi" she waves nervously.

He gets up from his spot on her bed and sits in front of her.
He cups her cheeks and kisses her.
He smiles feeling her smile into the kiss.

"Damon, Jeremy could come in" she warns against his lips.

"Who cares let him" he scoffs kissing her again.

"I care" she laughs pulling away smiling.

"Jeremy hates you and if he sees this he'll freak out" she plays with his shirt collar.

"Sunshine he's going to have to get used to me kissing you" he chuckles kissing her again.

"Damon I don't know?" she looks at him unsure.

"Sunshine I know we're still figuring things out but I want to be with you" he grabs her hand pulling her out of bed holding her hands.

"I want to be with you too" she nods smiling up at him.

Damon looks down at her with a small smile kissing her forehead.

"I love you" he mutters against her forehead.

"I love you too" she responds with a small smile.

He pulls away leaning down and kisses her one last time before they leave her room.

The two of them walk downstairs to see the group sitting around in the living room.

"Hey what are you guys doing here?" Y/n asks looking around at her friends confused.

"We're here to see you" Caroline says smiling.

"Why?" Y/n asks.

"Because we missed you and some of us heard what you two said upstairs" Rebekah says smirking.

"What did you hear?" Y/n asks nervously.

"Yeah so you and Damon?" Caroline questions.

"Did he compel you?" Jeremy asks glaring at Damon.

"No he didn't" Y/n says holding onto Damon's hand tighter.

"Is it serious?" Bonnie asks concerned.

"Still figuring things out" Y/n says smiling.

"Are you sure he didn't compel you?" Matt asks Y/n concerned.

"I didn't compel her I would never hurt her, why would I hurt someone I love!" Damon says loudly growing more angry.

"You love her?" Caroline asks surprised.

"Yes" Damon says looking at Y/n smiling.

Y/n looks up at Damon and kisses him sweetly in front of everyone shocking them all.

"I love you" Damon says quietly as they pull away from the kiss.

"I love you too" Y/n says smiling at Damon.

They both look into each others eyes momentarily forgetting about the others in the room with them.

"Awww" Caroline gushes excitedly.

"You two are adorable" Caroline says smiling widely.

"They love each other!" Caroline continues excitedly.

Y/n looks at everyone concerned at what they think but she sees caring smiles from everyone even from Jeremy.

"I still don't like him but if you love him I'll make an exception" Jeremy says smiling at Y/n.

"Thank you!" Y/n says happily running into his arms and hugging him tightly.
