Humanity Loss

I wanted to focus on Damon in the next two chapters so this one and the next one will be Damon's side of the story.

The Salvatore Manor was once a busy place with people coming and going due to Y/n living there but now that she's moved out it's turned back to the old eerily silent place.

In the basement where the cells are that once held the Salvatore brothers when they couldn't control their blood thirst and now it's holding once again.

Damon Salvatore

Stefan stands leaning against the cell staring at his brother who's locked in lying on the floor in pain.

"Damon you're not in your best mind" Stefan tells him.

"Let me out or I will rip your throat out!" Damon yells with what energy he has left.

Jeremy walks down into the basement with vervain that's in a vile and looks to Stefan who looks at the bottle contemplating.

"Stefan we need to do this to help him" Elena assures him placing her hand on his arm.

Stefan nods to Jeremy who opens the bottle pouring it over rope.

Bonnie joins them using her powers to keep Damon in the corner of the cell not able to move.
She opens the cell and Jeremy walks in wrapping the rope around Damon's wrists.

Damon hisses in pain trying to move his arms but can't due to being held in place with the magic.

Jeremy finishes tying the rope and steps out of the cell locking it back up to ensure that Damon doesn't get out.

"If Y/n saw him like this it would break her heart" Bonnie shakes her head looking away.

The magic is done and Damon slumps to the floor trying to take the ropes off but doesn't have the strength.

"We're sorry that we have to do this again but you've lost control again and could hurt Y/n" Stefan tells his brother.

"If you keep me here, when I get out I'll find her and snap her pretty little neck" Damon tells him in a monotone voice.

"The Damon before would never hurt her" Elena points out staring at the weak vampire.

"Well he's gone and it's her fault" he glares up at Elena.

It's been hours since Damon was locked in the cell and there's been no progress with regaining his humanity. The pain of losing her was enough to make him turn off his humanity and now he has a burning hatred towards her.

The day he turned it off was the day Y/n showed up at the house. She left going back to Matt even after everything the two had been through she still left for him.

So that night Damon grabbed himself another drink like he's done multiple times a day and that was it. Now he wants to taste her blood until every last drop is drained from her body.

Since that day he's killed a handful of women that he brings over to use for blood and sex but once his humanity was turned off he went a step further and drained them of the blood but it's not enough to satisfy him, he wants her blood.

He lost her and can't get her back, now no one will have her.
