Y/n looks down at her phone and smiles at the message notification from Caroline.

-Hey come to the Salvatore Manor, me and Elena are hanging out here-

She types in her response grabs her bag and jacket throwing it on before walking out of the door to meet with her sister and best friend.

On the way to the Manor she stops at the graveyard saying hello to Jenna and her parents before continuing her walk to the Salvatore's.

Arriving at the manor she walks up the gravel driveway before knocking on the front door and when no one answers she pushes the door open looking around confused.

"Caroline! Elena!" she calls walking further into the house.

The front door shuts and her body stiffens when she feels a hot breath on the back of her neck.
She knows who's behind her from the pine scent with a mixture of blood. She takes a breath and turns around with a smile until it drops seeing his stoic face with his veins turning dark purple under his eyes as his once light eyes turn dark.

"Damon what are you doing?" she asks stepping back with a look of unease on her face.

"Just relax" he steps closer to her.

"Damon stop" she backs up turning around to leave.

"Stay still" he grits out grabbing onto her wrist tightly.

She tries to wriggle out of his grip but knows that she won't be able to escape as he grabs her harder causing purple bruises to form where his fingertips are.

"Damon let go" she tells him sternly staring into his eyes looking for any hesitation he might have but knows it's useless when there's only his blank emotionless stare.

He smirks tightening his grip and leans down centimetres from her lips.

"Pull your hair back" his smirk against her neck.

"Damon please" her voice breaks thick with tears.

Without another word he grips her shoulders roughly and sinks his teeth into her neck with a loud scream coming from her lips. Her powers make vines wrap around his wrists trying to pry his hands off but die as Y/n gets weaker.

She tries to pry his hands and head off of her but to no avail. He continues to drink from her with no emotion. She becomes weaker in his arms as her shoulders slump down and her head hangs from exhaustion.

"Damon please" she pleads in a mumble with the last of her energy.

He sinks his teeth in deeper ignoring the limp body now leaning into him.

The front door slams open and in runs Jeremy, Stefan, Bonnie, Enzo and Elena.

"Damon let her go!" Stefan yells.

Jeremy rushes over to the two and rips Damon off of Y/n. She lets out a blood curdling scream and falls limply to the floor. Elena rushes over to her putting pressure on her neck wound. Damon looks at Y/n over Jeremy's shoulder and realizes what he's done, his humanity comes back to him hitting him hard as his recent actions replayed in his head.

"Stefan she's loosing too much blood!" Elena yells over to him panicked.

"I have to take her to the hospital!" she yells over to him again holding her sister in her arms.

Elena and Enzo rush to her vehicle and put Y/n in the back with Enzo as Elena drives.

"Hang on Y/n we're almost there" Elena looks back at her sister who's hanging onto consciousness.

Enzo holds onto Y/n putting pressure on her wound looking down at her full of concern.

Back at the Salvatore Manor Damon is thrown back into the cell he was in previously. Bonnie makes sure Caroline is okay and keeps the cell secured with her magic.

Stefan and Jeremy are standing at the cell watching Damon coming down from the vervain Jeremy injected him with. Damon is slumped down in the corner with his head in his hands realizing what he's done.

"You could've killed her" Jeremy glares down at him.

"Jeremy" Stefan shakes his head.

"No Stefan! He could have killed my sister!" Jeremy yells glaring at the brothers.

"Jeremy his humanity was turned off" Stefan tries to reason.

"He's right" Damon sighs.

"Damon.."

"I almost killed her, she's bleeding out and I didn't even care..I just kept going...she'll never forgive me now" Damon looks away feeling ashamed.

In the hospital Y/n is rushed into emergency surgery where she needs to get multiple blood transfusions.

Elena and Enzo sit in the waiting room waiting for updates about Y/n's condition.
Elena waits nervously as she bites her nails looking at the clock. Enzo tries to speak with the doctor but is ignored and told he needs to wait.

Matt runs into the hospital in a rush with Rebekah and Elijah.

"How is she? Is she okay?" Matt asks Elena panicked.

"She's in surgery now" she responds.

"What happened? Bonnie called me saying that Y/n was rushed to the hospital but didn't say why" Matt tells her.

"Damon lost his humanity a few days ago..and he wanted to kill her so we locked him in the cell in the manor to get him back but it didn't work" she looks away wiping away tears.

"She'll be okay" Matt assures her but also assuring himself.
