Red Belt

Today was the day that Maria was going to finally get her red belt in Karate no matter what she might have to do and the reason that Celeri knows any of this is because he sees it happening right in front of him as Maria follows their sensei back to his house as he stated.

Sensei: "You are not yet ready but come by my house and I shall show you the way to get closer to achieving that which you seek."

Maria: "(Sounding very worried) Sensei are you okay cause that sounded almost wise?"

Sensei: "Yea I'm good just thought the line from my fortune cookie applied to this situation now lets rock (does the rock and roll hand sign as he and Maria leave with Celeri following shortly after)."

Following the two a bit away he sees the pair park at what's most likely Sensei's house and as Celeri walks around the place he sees Maria pretty much doing all of Sensei's chores somewhat like that of a Karate movie where a kid does just that as he learns to fight without realizing it.

Anyway while watching all of this go down Maria manages to spot Celeri and to say she was angry would be an understatement about how she felt knowing that someone she knew just watched her do meaningless chores for a Red Belt.

She then began hitting him for a little while most likely out of embarrassment and anger from Celeri following them and watching her do whatever it took to finally get her Red Belt and to make matters even worse was the fact that Celeri himself had a Red Belt.

And the only reason he had gotten his before her was the fact that Sensei already gave him one long ago just because he wanted one and at that point the Sensei didn't seem to care all that much about giving away belts to whoever wanted one so long as it wasn't a black belt.

Anyway Celeri gets kicked out of Sensei's house by Maria as she probably couldn't handle it anymore if someone other than Sensei was to see how desperate she was for the Red Belt or maybe she still felt something for Celeri and that's why she didn't want him to see her.

But that couldn't really be the case cause it hadn't been that long since the two made up and for most of the time they spent together Maria was ready and willing to make his life harder than it had to be which he liked and thought was really fun as it provided a challenge no matter where he went and what he was doing.

Either way Celeri wasn't really allowed back inside Sensei's house for the moment at least and it didn't really help that Sensei's mom came out trying to whack him good thinking he was a no good thief no matter what he said or did and to make things even more awkward was the fact that she had meet him more than once and this happens every.... single.... time.... he goes over there.

From Sensei inviting him by himself or like most cases where he was just passing by the place and took a little break to drink some water and catch his breath only to then get accused once again of being a thief who was trying to steal her stuff once again.

Sensei's mom: "(Speaking to fast to understand whilst throwing stuff at him)."

Celeri: "*Ow* *ouch* Hey! can you please quit it I was just passing by the place I'm not a thief and I'm not trying to steal anything from you, your home, or your son."

Sensei's mom: "(Same thing as before only this time she had gotten closer and was running out of light objects to throw so now it was free for all throwing meaning whatever she could get her hands on was what got thrown no matter what it might have been)."

The second she started looking around for something to throw was the second that Celeri sprint like the wind for away as he possibly could from the place not caring where ever he might have gone or where he was going as all he knew was that he wanted far way from that house as fast as possible before something truly dangerous happened.

Somehow he found himself in the mall as one final book had gotten thrown at him with the last one being a book titled "How to sound wise for idiots" which was probably where Sensei had tried his best to learn all his wisdom but failed since most if not all of them made no sense and from looking over the book at least 1% of those were word for word translations but somehow only the hardest ones were remembered.

Immediately in the distance he sees Maria walking into a video store and being ever so curious Celeri walks into the shop himself as fast, normally, and quietly he could and by the time he got there some really buff guy was on the floor as Sensei and Maria were already leaving with a box set collection.

Celeri: "And I thought I was fast."

Now not having much to do Celeri starts walking back home but much to his surprise there stood Maria who seemed to be itching to fight and test out her new Red Belt abilities like she was some sort of game character.

Celeri: "You know the Red Belts don't do anything but show a sign of growth in already present skill right?"

Maria: "(Karate chop hand motion) You're just scared that know that I'm a Red Belt as well I'll beat you into embarrassment."

Celeri not saying anything as he usually does drops his bag cracks his neck and motions for Maria to come at him with his hands to which she does so with a giant smile on her face as the two then begin charging at each other.

And back inside Celeri's house the two very much beaten black and blue are now just sitting down on Celeri's couch watching old bad Karate movies while they try their best not to laugh as it hurt to much at the moment to do so as they look at each other and fist bump once again repairing their relationship to the way it once was before with the only way they knew how....... by beating the other into acceptaince.
