Maria's life

For Maria her normal days were now very boring to her as she had gotten so used to fighting something at least once a day or once every other day that if she doesn't hit her punching bag she goes into a bit of grim mood as her energy is just too low for her to do anything else.

Which would get better as time goes on as this is more or less an adrenaline rush type of addiction and she's slowly getting used to being a normal girl again... or as normal as she could what with her actually being far older than she looks along with all the random mystical and dangerous things she has in her closet.

Once of which was a tiny box that held her kitty ring that used to be Celeri's wolf ring, as she has no idea what to do with it and she doesn't really want to wear it if she didn't have to since it was very hard to get herself to take it off as it just felt very wrong for some reason.

Along with that was of course the cape that Star had given her before they both parted ways back to their own dimensions along with Celeri's wolf t-shirt that Janna had forced upon her and everyone else for free premotion back when everything was still normal.

It's kind of funny how a lot of times she was scared for her life but still managed to have fun with everyone while also seeming like just another day for her compared to her old normal which was Karate practice, hanging out with her friends, and then if no one made any plans chilling with her family and watching movies.

There's nothing that could really replace the feeling of constantly having your adrenaline spike like no tomorrow as you go about life trying to do something normal only for things get crazy real quick and real fast depending on who you're hanging out with.

Hanging out with Jackie as she skateboards was the closest thing that Maria could get for her fix but that was basically taking a shot for her at this point as in it did nothing other than bring back some life into.

Janna's did the same thing but hers were things that she either couldn't talk about out of fear or out of embarrassment as what goes down at a girls slumber party stays at the girls slumber party even when they bring it up later to talk about.

Either way it was fun hanging out with them even if things were more than a little awkward because two of their friends was gone and Jackie had come out as Bi during the times when they were all hanging out at one of said slumber parties.

At first they all thought it was one of those casual bi curious moments they've heard and seen from shows and books before but never did they think that it would actually happen... but if anyone was going to come out as such it was probably for the best that Jackie be it from how cool and casual she was.

It took three years of friendship before Jackie revealed what her middle name was to her friends all because she forgot that she hadn't told them and assumed they'd have already known what it was from how often they played/hung out together.

Also Janna seemed to be cutting back from her numerous crimes but what was probably more along the lines of her being forced to do so by her older sister as they were all getting close to graduation and since neither of them would be technically minors anymore the law would stop treating them as such.

The time eventually come for Maria to make up her mind however on what she really wanted to do with her life since thanks to Heckapoo and her dimension. Maria has a vast array of skills that mean next to nothing in the real world as her parents would probably have a heart attack if she were to join any military corp.

Weirdly enough both Jackie and Janna knew what they had wanted to do after school with Jackie wanting to go off and see the world as both a participant in the X-Games and as a wandering painter while Janna just wanted to be rich... along with furthering her studies and being able to be a perfect house wife.

Now while that may sound a bit odd but it doesn't really since if she could have the power of making loads of money without having to do anything is probably what Janna strives for the most out of anything else in life.

Going back home Maria rushes to her room and locks it shut as she grabs the box holding her ring, Celeri's shirt, and the cape she got from Star as he put them all on and started swinging around an old baseball bat as she pretended to be a knight.

Maria: "(throws the bat on her bed as she flops on it) I have been spending WAY too much time with Celeri to be thinking that this is a good idea!"

Opening the box Maria could swear she heard tiny whispers coming from the box telling her sweet, sweet whispers along with trying to get her to put the ring on before she untimely closes the box and throws everything back into her closet as she lays on her bed.

Maria: "What the heck is wrong with me! I was called little miss safety all my life and here I am missing my life being in constant danger and the one guy in my life that isn't my dad that I find both charming and annoying to the point of wanting to die sometimes when I'm with them."

Maria agonizes over her thoughts especially when she remembers all the times she's talked to her mother about Celeri and how their talks went when she was a kid and only know does she understand what her mother actually meant and getting embarrassed because of it.

It didn't help her feel any better when she remembers just how much of a brat she was and how her and Celeri's sour start happened all because of her own stupidity and Celeri's weird way of greeting.

But she couldn't wallow in her own stupid past as had to get ready to eat and then help out Janna sell anything that had to do with Celeri's alter ego Crimson knight to anyone who would be willing to buy anything with his name slapped on it literally.

But either because of the sweet whispers or because she had enough of this mundane life she know had to relive as she grabbed all her stuff and made her way towards Star and her castle right after both eating and letting her friends know what she was up to first since she already knew how it felt for someone to suddenly disappear in her life.

But that was something that would happen much later in the month as she for now was still having doubts and spending awkward moments with both Janna and Jackie as she tries her best to find out how to tell them about her plans without hurting them in the process.

Maria: "(Sighs) Man its hard having a good conscious sometimes."

Janna: "Get enough money and you'll be able to drown out the feeling of guilt you get for it or find a way to make it someone else's fault than you're own."

Jackie: "Is that why you tried to get be to pay for my new board that you broke?"

Janna just ignores this as she leaves to the group to try and hustle some random new guy for junk with Crimson Knight labeled on some random things she thought could be sold and passable as something Crimson Knight might have used.
