King Ludo

It's been about a week since Ludo's complete and utter takeover of the Mewni kingdom and with their only royal leader left locked away in the castle dungeons along with the knights and their squires off who knows where most of the people have already started following Ludo's rule.

The kingdom has fallen into complete and utter shambles as Ludo started destroying anything that had to do with the Butterfly family along with doing at least some kingly things like trying to get his new found people to look up to him with merchandise along with making his own history of events.

Along with Ludo becoming King of Mewni he had made it to where all the rats that he had under his command were allowed to do as they pleased which meant destroying plenty of things while also completely gorging themselves on Mewni corn which was apparently the best corn ever.

Honestly though Celeri really couldn't tell the difference between corn from Mewni and anywhere else in the world as they were all still just corn at the end of the day and nothing was specially added to it. Which should honestly come as no surprise since Mewni is a Medieval era country it probably means that they don't have the best agricultural structure compared to other dimensions along them all being very biased to anything non human.

Anyway inside the dungeon of the castle is where Celeri stood as he was being informed of all this from Ludo himself, the screams of the people, and also the resistance members who would occasionally come on by and relay him some information.

Eventually Ludo himself appeared in the Dungeon quite possibly to gloat but the more likely cause was for him to get rid of both Celeri and the previous King of Mewni as a way of quelling the rebellion along with making a show out of those who appose his will.

As all great men eventually must do as otherwise the fighting would never truly end with their people and would cause sparks that would disrupt the entire kingdom like someone lighting an open match inside a swampland.

Along with Ludo and his spider, bird servants came whatever remained of Ludo's army that didn't get wiped clean by him and Star when they both thought that Maria had perished inside his castle last they saw of Toffee along with the last time Celeri saw Ludo before his weird arm growth.

Thanks to the stupidity of Ludo for giving the three of them a stick of butter Maria was able to slick her hands out of the chains with it as she then passes it to Star's father before making her way through the vents like some ninja as Celeri wonders where the heck they took his ring?

Cut to one of Ludo's minions as their claw like fingers are shown with one of said claw fingers being a very dark purple with Celeri's ring on that finger as their face looks to be in great pain but are still continuing to do their job like it wasn't even there.

Monster 1: "Finger no look good? Need health care check?"

The first monster then points towards a door with a giant red cross on it that seemed to be fresh and not a picture as something starts screaming inside after a monster in white with a club, drenched in something red and green went inside the med room.

Monster 2: "Me good! Just time take for fit (shows off hand)."

Monster 1: "(Shakes head as its grabs Monster 2 by said hand) No good, Help now or no finger no more."

The second monster seemed really scared along with them blushing as the first monster got closer to their face before dragging them towards the medic room as they apparently cared for each other with the ring having already fell off because the second monster had a sweat problem.

Or it could be something else as the ring was now also coated in some other form of liquid as the ring just laid down on the ground waiting for someone to help bring it back to its master and owner with Maria eventually finding said ring on her own as she and the other rebels sneaked around Ludo's new castle.

Maria saw something sparkle and shine on the ground as she and the former royal jester were out and about the castle. She noticed immediately what it was as only Celeri has something so strange of a ring especially since nothing else in Mewni now or before Ludo had a red gem.

Maria: "If anyone's going to wear this edge lord ring it's going to be either Janna or Celeri and seeing as how Janna hates anything girly this must be Celeri's ring."

Jester 1: "What's a edge lord?"

Jester mime: "(Shrugs.)"

Maria picks up the ring and places it on her finger so as to not loose it or have it taken away just in case, and like Star's magic wand it changed shape and form with a dark mist appearing as the ring started to burn a bit before turning into a cute cat ring with glowing red eyes.

While Maria wonders just what the heck happened the music guy that caused Star's disappearance act appears as sounds of more monster guards starts approaching them around the corner as all the rebels duck and cover inside the nearest vent like areas.

Back inside the dungeon Celeri is just staring daggers at the old king as the man had eaten the only butter they had to get free and was now trying to continue playing bug chess like it never happened.

Old King: "So my boy-"

Celeri: "If I have to break this wall to get to shut up and leave me alone trust me I will."

The two just sit in silence for a long while before Celeri eventually says "B4" and River just smiles like the great big idiot he is as he moves one of the bugs with his feet just as Maria bursts through the door and rechains herself or at least appears to do so.

Just then Ludo appears the very second Maria hastily put herself back in chains with the key she brought to free both of them sliding across the floor right in front of Ludo and just out of their collective reach.

Ludo: "(Laughs) Oh this is to funny! I accidentally left the key here and none of you tired to get it (laughs even harder) Oh, (wipes away tear) that would have been dangerous if any of you were smart enough to try and break out."

The Bird man grabs his key and starts carrying it around his neck once again as he snaps his fingers and has some of his monster guards take the Old King River over to the front of the castle as he starts rehearsing his speech as Celeri loudly sighs before looking at Maria's new ring.
