Sophomore Slump

Ever since the day both Star and Celeri had left Maria has been lost on what the heck she both wanted to do and what she felt like she needed to do since everything else compared to being with Star or Celeri was a lot more boring in comparison and left much to be desired.

With her constantly wearing the cape she had gotten from the king and Star before returning to earth as she spent her time being normal once again and being so out of her element on what to do that she was trying to do trick shots by bouncing chips off her cloaked body into her mouth.

All while her parents watched in worry as to what their daughter was doing especially on a Saturday night when even before Star came into their lives Maria would at least leave the house for the night letting the parents... bond for a night.

What the didn't realize however was the fact that everything was worse than they could have ever imagined as Maria never took the cloak off nor did she ever leave the house without the Crimson Knight wolf shirt that everyone of her friends had thanks to Janna.

It was getting so bad to the point that all her friends that were still present and on earth had to stage an intervention for her being obsessed with Knighthood and how it was all she seemed to either talk about or want to do much to everyone else's annoyance.

Especially since she started to believe that like Britany that she was superior to her friends because she had the honor of being an honorary knight to the Mewni family with everyone eventually giving Maria the choice of either staying and giving up the Knight talk or she leaves this dimension to be with Star on Mewni.

Maria was of course a little sad that to her it seemed like all her friends and even her parents wanted hero gone from their lives but she understood where they were coming from since she did the same exact thing in a not so nice way to Celeri when they first meet as kids.

So for the entire day Maria went around town to figure out what it was she really wanted. Did she want to stay? Was she more willing to go and leave everything she's ever known behind than she thought? Or was the excitement that came from being friends with Star to much for her and now she can't go back to normal earth life anymore.

Her first stop was to the man that's helped her the most in her adventures with Star and that was her sensei. Why she went to him first honestly no idea as not even Maria knows why she chose him first to visit out of all everyone else she knew that could helped her decide.

But whatever she was already in front of her Karate class's front door and after taking a deep breath she went inside the dojo and had a talk with her sensei heart to heart, or as much as her sensei could give before Maria accidently drove the man to tears by talking trash about his own handmade knight cape with her air of superiority about having a genuine cape.

Sensei: "(Tears in his eyes as he hold up his cape) GET OUT! (Sniffs) And don't come back till you understand what you did wrong!"

Maria then left the mall a little salty about everything but at the end it was mostly justifiable on her Sensi's part as there was no need for her to tear down the man's pride and joy just because it didn't happen to be given to him by a real life member of a royal family.

The next place that Maria went to was the beach for no reason other than it looked nice and brought back some fond memories she had about random things as Jackie appeared behind her and gave Maria a hug from behind causing Maria to blush heavily as she remembered their last slumber party.

Maria: "(Stuttering) Hey J-j-j-Jackie how's it going?"

Jackie: "Good other than one of my BFF's are going to move out before I do."

Maria: "(Turns around right into Jackie's cleavage as Jackie holds Maria in for a hug while Maria tries her best to break free so as to breath and once she does lets out a giant gasp) What do you mean your moving?"
