The Bogbeast of Boggabah

As the Shrouded Creature wonders just what the heck Star and her father are doing as he overheard them say something about hunting something and that it would be a father daughter event like when she was little.

At first the Shrouded Creature really didn't care all that much if these two idiots went about hunting a creature but once he heard that it was a rare creature that barely anyone had ever seen before it jumped ship with them and followed them through dimensions.

Curious at the prospect of finding a new friend or something even closer than that, the Shrouded Creature started looking around the dark forest to see where the heck this mysterious Bogbeast might have been.

What really didn't help with the Shrouded Creature's search for the Bogbeast was Star seemingly on a vendetta against this thing even though it was her first time ever hearing about the blasted thing as she was too focused and obsessed with getting back home to her mother for some reason.

The trip was at least somewhat interesting as the Shrouded Creature saw how River and others dressed themselves for the hunt all while Star couldn't seem to care any less and did seemed to be cutting every corner she could when doing anything her father asked of her. 

Like how he asked her to help with painting on some tribal markings for his back since he couldn't quite reach it and Star just painted on a giant smiling flower which for her was probably something very bad since that wasn't really her style. 

It also seemed like River was trying to have more fun with Star or at least bond with her instead of wanting to hunt the mythical creature, meanwhile Star on the other seemed to be wanting to have caught this thing yesterday and get back home.

Ignoring them for a bit the Shrouded Creature went off to do its own thing for a bit as it could tell that these two idiots weren't going to help lead it to the Bogbesat any time soon and decided that it might have been better off going solo to find this beast.

Swinging from tree to tree, branch to branch the Shrouded Creature could tell that there probably wasn't a beast here or at least anything truly dangerous based solely on just how many Mewmains and other friendly creatures were all over the place without any signs they were worried about anything. 

Heck from the looks of it honestly seemed more like they were all getting ready for one big party as they were brining out food, drinks, and even some games to play... either that or these people have even stranger rituals of combat than the butterfly family or the Diaz family when it comes to something called the "play offs".

The Shrouded creature had to slap his face a bit or what could be considered a face underneath all his clothes and fabrics, as it then began going through the forest as a pack of black wolves that looked to be very dangerous and ravenous.

Thankfully however the wolf pack was smart enough to know that appearing in front of anyone wasn't the best of ideas and instead stook to the shadows and slowly passed through darkness and began combing the entire area for any signs of a beast within the forest.

After about thirty minutes of this however all the shadow wolves had to become one again or else the Shrouded Creature would... do something? It honestly has no idea what would happen if it stays like that for a long enough time and while it doesn't really feel pain it could understand it feeling dread for doing so.

Why though it has no idea as it's something as simple as breathing is for Mewman people or human people as it could just do that when ever it really wanted and honestly had more fun being an entire group of wolves than being stuck as one formed creature.

As the Shrouded Creature touched a nearby tree and rock after barely forming itself back to normal it witnessed the tree and rock seem to burn and dissolve as they became pitch black smaller versions of themselves and seemed to have become opposites of what they were.

With the tree instead of being stiff now felt like some slime like thing as anything without force just rolled off it while when the Shrouded creature put a stick through it the thing seemed to eat the thing until it was pulled back out without anything being odd other than the little hole in the rock?

Realizing that it just messed up this place the Shrouded Creature dashed towards Star and rivers to try and make sure that they didn't find out about this why it did so it had no idea other than it felt like it was the only thing it had to do sort of like a compulsion.

However once it reached them the Shrouded creature realized that this entire venture was all for not as it seemed that River was just trying to help his daughter in the only way he really knew how, which seemed to work as Star seemed a whole lot less stressed about whatever was stressing her out earlier.

While it was nice to see that the family cared for one another it was just as sad to know that the Shrouded Creature wasn't going to be meeting a new friend or possibly family member..................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

The Shrouded Creature: "Why did I think of family? I've always been alone and-"

Just as the creature started talking it felt a massive pain in its head? or at the very least head shaped area as it started groaning like a beast before letting out a giant howl like a demon wolf the size of at least one house.

Once it was finished it completely forgot what it was thinking about along with why the heck it was even here in the first place before hearing someone say something about a Bogbeast and remembering that it came here to try and find it for some reason.

But it now realized that it was stupid as it had to get back to Eclipsa and help her out with her problems while also trying to find out more about the butterfly family and how it could help both Eclipsa and his brother.

Once back inside the castle the Shrouded Creature finally realized why Eclipsa had been smiling when he told her where he was going earlier that day and was not very amused at being laughed at but seemed to let it be as it felt lighter? whenever it saw her laugh and smile.

It began to wonder if there was a way to get itself looked at by professionals as it was feeling all kinds of weird things lately with most of them seeming to have come from Eclipsa as of late and felt like it would be rude or possibly dangerous to ask her in person.
