Booth Buddies

At a wedding to celebrate the love between two of the freedom fighter members that had helped to liberate Mewni from Ludo's rule Star and Maria were off dancing their heart outs along with a green haired girl named Kelly as a light skinned yet dark figure walked around in the shadows.

The shadowy figure doesn't walk so much as glides across the ground as their giant purple trench coat flows in the wind somehow as they make their way towards the table where all the food was located which was also where Star, Maria, Tom, and Pony head were heading.

As everyone stood next to one another they all looked at the shadowy figure and wondered where they had seen them before, they all knew it would be hard to forget someone dressed like that and paired with their looks it should be clicking like a satisfying puzzle.

???: "Can I help you?"

Star: "(Chuckles) Sorry we didn't mean to stare buttt..."

Maria: "You look familiar? Have any of us ever meet before?"

???: "No, I don't any of you have or at least I don't remember the pleasure of meeting such pretty flowers like yourselves (looks at Tom and winks)."

Tom of course shudders at this causing the mysterious man to chuckle a bit as he forms four purple roses for each of them along with a card for their futures with Star being a queen, Tom being a king, while both Maria and Pony head became jesters.

As both Maria and Pony head seemed to want to exchange some words and more physical forms of greetings they blinked and by the time they opened their eyes the man had already disappeared and was somewhere else in the party.

While everyone searched for the mysterious man Star and Maria stopped when they noticed a photo booth and decided to make a quick pit stop inside so that they could have something to remember this night other than the mysterious man.

Stepping inside Maria gives the machine five dollars and once it started up Star and Maria started pushing everything they wanted the machine to do, with their first set of pictures being about the great times they had.

Once their pictures had been taken both girls were happy and full of smiles... then they saw the last picture which had the words Besties! written above both Star and Maria as Star was hugging Pony head while Maria was hugging Celeri.

Star: "What the heck!?"

Maria: "(Turns her head to Star) I'm not your best friend?"

Star: "(Looks at Maria) You are but this is soo not the time for this!"

Grabbing another five dollar bill out of Maria's pocket Star fed it to the machine once more, this time however they both went with what looked to be a frowny face as it was mainly blue with three barely distinguishable lines.

Once again all the pictures were normal except for the last one which had replaced Star and Maria with Celeri in their place with him wearing male versions of their clothes. Aka Maria's Celeri looks normal while Star's Celeri looks like that of a prince.

Maria: "Okay (throws the pictures on the floor) This is officially getting creepy."

Maria then tried to leave but Star wasn't going anywhere, in fact she actually somehow managed to grab the rest of the money Maria had on her to keep taking pictures, and to make things even worse was the fact that Maria couldn't leave even if she wanted to as the curtain door thing somehow seemed fused with the box based on how impossible they seemed to open.

Maria: "STAR HELP!"

Star couldn't hear Maria's cries however as she was more focused on the photo booth and was patiently waiting for it to start up even thought it had been stuck on one for a solid minute at that point and it was only when Maria finally sat back down again did the timer finally hit zero.

What happened next where more and more pictures of Maria, Star, and Celeri in varying different situations with some pictures having the last two pictures being different instead of the last picture like normal.

Every picture that came out seemed to have some sort of affect on Star of all people while Maria seemed to have barely any effect even though he was the person she missed the most out of any of their other friends back on earth.

Might just be because of him up and walking way from their lives but heck it could also be because of the fact she was Star's knight and probably felt like it was her duty to protect her friend more than anything else.

Which probably included matters of the heart as well, probably causing Maria to feel very conflicted right now on her wanted to just sit down with Maria and see what this magical photo booth can show them and the desire to break open the place and free both of them from its wicked grasp.

This all changed after Star had already used one hundred of Maria's dollars, Maria really stopped caring about helping her friend and master out of the photo booth and started to actually get into it instead and began having mad fun with Star once more.

What happens next is a little montage of both Star and Maria thinking up everything they possibly could with the Photo Booth pictures and have Celeri, Pony head, and sometimes Tom show up in the last pictures they take all dressed and acting different than they probably normally would.

After half an hour of doing this Star and Maria eventually use up all the money they had but are in love with the machine and all the pictures they had taken as it was the most fun they've had in quite long while.

However as the girls were jumping and enjoying their time with one another Tom had noticed the pictures that were being taken and started feeling a dark feeling in his chest that he thought he'd gotten ridden of start to swell up again when he looked at how happy Star looked with Celeri.

As Tom stared at the picture the mysterious man from before approached him from behind and grabbed the photo as he pocketed it and gave Tom some more purple flowers and a box of dark chocolates and sent him on his way.

While Tom walked towards a now free Star and Maria the shadowy man appeared behind the magical photo booth and went inside it as he fiddled around with the device trying to find a way to use it for free.

When that didn't work he reluctantly gave it some money and asked it to give him a simple picture which was the one with the hearts on it as he wanted to see what it might have been like if his heart was to be answered.

What came out however truly surprised the man as two sets of pictures came out? One set was for him and it had nothing except for him sitting there emotionless for most of the time as Eclipsa slowly came into frame with a child her in arms?

The other set of pictures was some man with blue eyes and a red hoodie sitting down together with the two girls he had met earlier and many, many more that he had barely seen let alone meet and the strangest thing was that they all seemed happy and carrying a family of their own.

Walking out of the photo booth the strange pale man seems like he was about to crumble the photos but instead pockets both of them as a single tear is shed from him before he walks into the darkness and disappears.

Meanwhile back inside the Mewni castle the Ragged creature hovers around the room and flops on the bed that was once Eclipsa's and out come two sets of pictures from its pocket as the creature doesn't even bother trying to hide them and instead just wonders what they could have meant, along with why he had two of them for the price of one.
