After Shantii told me her plans on going with Monae to pack so she could stay with Shantii, I dipped. That sounded like a lot of work. I wanted to go see Ja'Quinn.

I didn't see him all day and I missed my boo, plus today is our anniversary. It's officially been a whole month since me and him been together and I'm so happy.

What really surprised me is, he remembered. Earlier he sent me a text:

Baee: Happy 1 month bae. I have a surprise for you so be ready at 4

I had to look bad as fuck just for him. When I think about it, I thought he forgot it was our anniversary, but I'm happy that he didn't. We've been together for 1 month and I can honestly say I love him.

Like I know it's only been a month but I feel a deeper connection with him, as if I've known him for years.

I told the girls I was gonna talk to them later cause it was me and Ja'Quinn's anniversary and I just wanted to give him my undivided attention.

Anyways I hope they didn't think I was gonna help them unpack all that shit. That's Shantii job and will remain her job.

After they finished I came to Shantii's house to tell her about me and Ja'Quinn's plans.

At first she was hostile.

"You're so lazy, you really ditched us just to get out of work. Get out of my face," she mushed me and headed into the kitchen.

"Bitch bye, you want to be captain save everybody, that's you. What that gotta do with Keshina?" I asked.

"You sound so ignorant right now. It's called being supportive or thinking about someone other than yourself. Maybe you should try it every once in a while," she sounded too proper, I couldn't take her serious.

"Bitch I am supportive."

"No you're selfish. Just tell me about you guys plans for later already, not another word about Monae," she snapped.

"Anyway. I don't know about the plans, he just said to be ready by four," I shrugged.

"Damn it's already y'all anniversary? Shit came fast as fuck, but happy anniversary! I hope y'all have fun boo!" Sharanda threw her arms around me.

I laughed. Monae walked down the steps and rubbed her eyes,  "Who's anniversary?" she asked. I grinned, "Mines."

"Oh happy anniversary even if I don't know you like that. You seem like a cool girl and maybe I can get to know you more," she gave me a side hug. "Yeah we'll see but thank you guys," I blew them kisses then walked out of the door.

I jumped in the car and drove home. Shantii was making me feel bad. I wasn't selfish. I shook her out of my head, right now was all about me and my baby.

I had to be sure I was ready and on time for Ja'Quinn so as soon as I walked in my house, I got my underclothes out for my shower.

I wrapped my hair first, then jumped into the shower. I made sure I washed between my legs, my arm pits and even my belly button.

I wanted to feel and smell like that bitch tonight. I dried off with a towel and walked to my closet. I looked around for what I should wear.

I finally picked out a long black skirt with an all black crop top. I went to my shoes aisle and pulled out some all black heels.

I went back in the bathroom, sat my clothes down, unwrapped my hair and started curling my hair.
