The next morning, Vance and I sat with Jeremy in front of his desktop and started to look up stuff about Pentro Labs and what they might be doing. Jeremy asked "You guys hungry"? as he got up to make breakfast.
"Yeah. I'd like some toast and pancakes. And don't even think about forgetting the suasages" was my answer. Vance nodded and said "Same here, man. Want some help?" Jeremy shrugged with a somewhat tired "Sure, let's just get some food."
As the three of us went down stairs, Jereny's sister Vicky, who greeted us with a confused look. "When did Vince and Vance get here, Jeremy?" she asked her long haired brother. "We'll tell you later. Right now, you can help us make breakfast so the Acton guys and I can get back to work." Vicky shrugged as she made breakfast.
Jeremy was gonna ask Vance something when he gave him a look that told him to shut up and not ask any questions. When we were done eating, the guys and I got up and headed upstairs. Vicky said "Hey Vince, what are you guys working on?"
I had my earbuds in my ears when at the table, so I was prepared for this to happen. "I can't hear you, Vicky." was my answer as I ran up stairs to catch up with Vance and Jeremy, leaving a confused Vicky standing there eating her toast. The last thing we needed was Jeremy's sister Vicky getting involved in this stuff. She'd probably tell her parents. Or worse, the cops.
