The new formula

Meanwhile back at Pentro Lab, Doug and Rachel were presenting a new formula to the board of directors and the lab's committee.

"So as you turn to the 25th page of the company booklet, it provides information about the new formula. It not only can help fight against the flu, but it could even be the world's leading cure to cancer." Doug said.

Interested, the board of directors and committee members turned the pages to the section as the young scientist suggested. 

Doug went over to a nearby desk and typed on a laptop to make the big flat screen TV light up with important info about the formula.

"Now if you turn your attention to the screen, you'll notice that the formula contains molecules tht alter the organelles of every cell of the subject it's injected into."

"For example, you have the flu and don't have cough medicine. No problem. You just inject yourself with the syringe and the formula is immediately within your blood stream, fighting the infection within seconds."

"But we didn't spend millions of dollars just to get rid of flus." Doug then typed on the laptop again, this time pulling up a screen which was linked to a security camera within one if the many experimental rooms.

As Doug sat down at the desk with the laptop, Rachel stood up from the conference desk and walked over the front of the rolm to continue the presentation. 

One of the board members raised his hand and asked "Excuse me, Ms, Morgan, but is this formula safe? I mean, has it been tested on a available subject?"

The young scientist smiled and answered "Of course it is. Mr.Fender and I have made tests on Bob, our test rat, and he became smarter and stronger than the other rat, Leif."

"But wait, there's more. Not only does the new formula cure certain illnesses, it can give the subject the ability to do things no one else can do."

"Like superpowers?" one of the committee members asked. "Yes, you could say that. It gives each individual it's injected into different abilities, based on their blood type."

"If someone was blood type A, then they'd be able to fly, but if they had blood type B, then they'd have the ability to teleport. "

Which brings me to one of the main ideas of this presentation. Thus formula, the Nerka formula, can travel to the human brain and spread throughout the person's body. But while this occurs, the body gets stronger and it can make that person work longer, focus more, and increase their awareness."

But we need more than just rats to test this on. Which is why we need to test this on teenagers. Now I know you might think this is crazy, but a teenager's mind is at the peak of development."

 "The reason why we should use teenagers as our test subjects is because their minds are maturing and the front part of their brains is still growing. With this in mind, if a teenager used this formula, not only would they be stronger, but they'd work longer on their schoolwork, behave properly, and not take drugs."

The committee and board of directors seemed interested and after talking mong themselves for a few minutes, they came to an agreement: they all voted unanimous for the project.

It would be set in motion as soon as possible, and the Nerka formula would be in the form of a chip inside of flies.

These were no ordinary flies because they were altered by the same lab, and were released with tiny cameras on them.

And they were to only bite the teenagers of every school in the city. Which meant that the Acton brothers and Jeremy would have to do something to save the other teenagers from becoming super teens. 

The reason why is because these teenagers didn't have superpowers, and the formula could affect their nervous systems. 

With dangerous results because every test would do something different to every teenager.

In turn, the effects of these tests would be either long term. Probably for the rest of the lives of the teenagers.
