The next afternoon on Valentine's day, the guys and I went to the auditorium.
Just as we thought, there lots of guys and girls dancing together under the colorful disco ball hanging from the ceiling.
Red decorations and heart-shaped balloons were everywhere. The was candy on another table, but the guys and I were looking for chips and snacks, not candy.
There was music being played on the speakers near the doors of the auditorium, and there it was, the table that was literally covered with chips, and other snacks.
Before the other students knew what hit them, Vince, Jeremy, Gerard's friends and I all sped over to that table, and literally snatched almost all of the snacks off of that table.
Naturally, we left three bags of chips on the table. Gerard was busy dancing with Jamie with the other students.
We ate some of the chips and saved the rest in our backpacks so we could eat them once we got home.
An hour later, and the dance was over. As the other students headed out the the front of the school to go home, Gerard came up to us with a big smile on his face.
He told us that Jamie gave him her phone number, and that she'd expect him to call her soon.
The guys and I congratulated him as we all went to Gerard's house to celebrate. We spent the rest of the afternoon eating chips, studying, and playing Minecraft.
Soon, it was time to go home, so the guys and I spilt as we all went home. That night, I sat on my bed, with plenty if chips still in my backpack.
I had a good time. But I knew that Vince, Jeremy. And I would probably have to break the news to Gerard and the guys.
The news about Pentro lab and their scheme would soon be told to our new friends.
