The next morning at school, lots of students were talking about Jacob. He's one of the school football players, and he wasn't here.
Jeremy filled Vance and I in on what had happened the previous night. And once we understood what happened, we chose to keep it to ourselves
If we told anyone, they'd think we're crazy, on top of being unpopular students, Jacob's friends who are football players would bully us.
Not that it would hard for us to stop, I mean come on. We have superpowers, and can easily just burn them. Or beat them to a pulp, since we're Kung fu black belts.
Besides this, the three of us went to class and saw that some of he students were going on a temporary strike until they found Jacob.
After all, the guy's popular and many girls want to go out with him. Vance rolled his eyes and said "What stupid loosers. Looking for a guy who's already missing."
Jeremy nodded and said "Yeah, just let the cops handle this one. After all, when someone else goes missing, the students at this school wouldn't give a care who they are."
"That's true. Now that the missing person is someone popular like Jacob, then the students go crazy over him", I added.
This just comes to show you how stupid people get over a popular person.
