Newfound power (Vince)

The next day after school was out, the five of us quickly went to the hospital now that Spencer was receiving visitors. After we were in his hospital room, Spencer told us about his time in the hospital.

"The food here is alright, but definitely not as good as my mom's home cooking", our blue haired friend said with a chuckle. Then the guys and I informed Spencer about what was going on at school.

"The students are acting strange. For one thing, they sometimes just stand around staring like somethings wrong with them." I said.

Vance nodded and added "That's right, and they're getting a little, how should I say this, dumber. For example, yesterday during history. Mr.Liamson asked the students when the Titanic sank. And you what one of the students, Derrick Hendrick said? He said it sank in 1999. 1999! That's basically most of the century apart from when it really sank, which was 1912."

Gerard laughed and said "Yeah, with emphasis on dumber. Those guys acted like idiots!"

The three of us nodded. The students at school were acting kinda strange. But anyway, Jeremy and Zack texted us about their conversation the night before.

A few minutes later, Vance and I texted Jeremy, asking him if he told Zack about Pentro Lab or about us having superpowers.

"Oh yeah. I told him about that, and it turns out that Zack has superstrength just me and Vance. He also has superflight, and orange plasma blast."

"Hey, what do you mean superpowers? Like in comics?" Spencer asked. "Just watch quietly, man." I answered.

Vance and I exchanged surprised glances. Zack has superpowers like us. So he's now a super teen. Gerard texted us about the fact that he had discovered that he had superpowers as well.

He was walking across the street on a rainy afternoon when a speeding car drove towards him. Gerard barely had any time to react, and just as the car was about to hit him, he ended up grabbing the hood and grill of the car.

Gerard ended up leaving a handprint in the metal of the car, and as he continued walking on the crosswalk, another car slid towards him.

It couldn't stop because of the rain on the street, and Gerard quickly leapt over it. And when some guy tried to rob him, Gerard made the man's knife bend around the would be robber's hand so then the knife was stuck.

 And the man couldn't move his fingers. Gerard then hit the man, knocking him up in the air and down into some trsh cans. Gerard felt blue lighting flicker on his hands, and then go away. Apparently, Gerard had superstrength, superflight, magnetics and lighting.

Now as for Spencer, we didn't know what his powers were. But we would know soon, because when he took a sip of water, he ended up freezing it. It was useless saying anything, because Spencer had ice.

Not only did Spencer have ice powers, which meant that he could freeze anything– but he also had superflight because he ended up floating over his hospital bed.

He quickly sat back down before his IV started to pull on his left hand. Spencer winced as his IV pulled on his hand, and he ended up squeezing the handle on the side of the hospital bed, leaving a handprint.

A few minutes later, Spencer's dad and a nurse came in and explained that Spencer would be discharged today. So after we left the room so Spencer could change his clothes,and soon he was ready to go.

So Spencer had superstrength, ice, and superflight. Later that afternoon at Spencer's house, the guys and I filled in all the details for him. And soon Spencer knew about Pentro Lab, and also knew about the info we had found.

"That's just messed up!" Spencer said as he hit his fist onto the table, causing it to shake. He looked down at his had and it had turned into wood. 

Then it quickly changed back to normal. So Spencer also had materialization. "Aw man! Why don't I have materializatoon! That's too cool!" said an upset Gerard.

"What are you complaining for, anyway, Gerard? You have blue lighting and magnetics! You're basically like Magneto or something!" Spencer grumbled.

After talking about our superpowers, we decided that we would test them out tomorrow at the old junkyard near the school. 

So now we all had superpowers, and we all knew the truth about our enemy. All we needed to do was take the next step before Pentro lab did.
