In the next moment, the roaring cheers erupted. The people were delighted and gleeful, but the preceptors of the royal cultivation hall were terribly worried. It never occurred to them that such a thing could go wrong. This was the most ominous luck! Every time the grand stage circled the capital it symbolized a year of prosperity and harmony in the kingdom. If it was interrupted did that not mean the inevitable premonition of disaster? Lang Qiangqiu shifted uncomfortably in his seat as if he wanted to say something.
The preceptors were so deeply distressed they were losing hair as swiftly as the rain showered. After much thought, they called him over and cautiously asked,
"Your Highness, would you be willing to sit facing the wall in self-reflection for a month? It does not really need to be a month as long as you are sincere."
Lang Qiangqiu looked as if he couldn't take it anymore,
"But why should he apologize when he hasn't done anything wrong? He saved someone, so why?" Xie Lian listened to this thoughtfully and didn't respond, only smiled.
But the crown prince only smiled and shook his head,
"No."
What he said was,
"Is there anything wrong with saving people? Would the heavens condemn me for doing the right thing?"
Uh.. and if the heavens do condemn you?
"Then it is the heavens who are wrong, why should I have to apologize to them?"
Pei Ming smirked, it was a pretentious thing to say, arrogant even, but it was still commendable. To think that the
garbage-god of misfortune used to say such audacious, yet brave words. He turned to Shi Wudu and Ling Wen and said,
"Who knew that that trash crown prince had such a character?" Shi Wudu scoffed,
"So what of his character? In the end he still ended up as the outcast of the heavens."
Ling Wen spoke up,
"He's quite foolish, yet he was brave enough to say such things without batting an eye." At that moment, 'San Lang' looked in their direction, it was surely coincidental, but for some reason it felt like he could see right through them. They stopped talking after that.
Shi Qingxuan was 'talking' about the same thing with Ming Yi, even though it was just him one-sidedly talking to him.
"Isn't His Highness so cool?" He kept excitedly waving his fan around, even though currently it didn't work, no one's spiritual energy was responding. Ming Yi was ignoring him, or at least he was trying to.
The preceptors were dumbfounded, it was just that this crown prince was such a person. Never once had he come across anything he could not accomplish, and never had he met anybody who did not adore him. The justice of the mortal world and the center of the world. The preceptors were upset, but they weren't in a position to say much, and they did not dare to either, regardless, his highness would not have listened anyway.

Commencing a short break.
San Lang laughed softly in delight, Xie Lian looked at him confused,
"What's so funny?" Xie Lian felt hurt for a moment, suspecting that San Lang was making fun of him. He was used to being ridiculed, yes, but it was not the same when it was him, it was just different.
"It's just that Your Highness is so cute."
Xie Lian's eyes widened in surprise and his face flushed, caught completely off-guard. San Lang stopped in his tracks as if realizing something. Feng Xin and Mu Qing who had been closely watching him, nearly jumped to their feet,
"What the hell are you trying to do?!" Feng Xin exclaimed. Mu Qing wasn't better off, he seemed unable to even say anything,
"You-! You!-.....," he stared in disgust.
San Lang didn't say anything, not even glancing in their direction.
"What's going on? Why are you two yelling?" Shi Qingxuan approached. Feng Xin pointed at San Lang, as if he were a child tattling to an adult, "He... called His Highness..... cute!" Shi Qingxuan stared in silence,
"And?"
"And?!" Mu Qing finally spoke,
"A man calling another man cute! How unsightly! One might question what his intentions are!" Shi Qingxuan sighed and shook his head and walked over to His Highness,
"Your Highness, what is up with those two? I thought the three of you had a bad relationship, but it's like they're
puppy-guarding you." Xie Lian who was still in a daze spoke again,
"Nonsense, I'm sure they're just being cautious, the majority of us are heavenly officials, San Lang is not, yet he's here. I don't know why he's here either, but it's only natural for them to be wary." Shi Qingxuan shook his head again,
"Your Highness, you're really... Alright, I'll see you later." And he departed back to his seat.
Pei Ming asked in good humor what had happened, Shi Qingxuan just replied with,
"Just a few minor disagreements." Pei Ming let it go but he looked in their direction curiously.
