In the mortal realm, three days later.
There was a small tea shop on the side of the road. Since there were hardly any customers, the tea sommelier could leisurely pull out a stool to sit on to admire the scenery outside.

He would watch the cheerful passerby and the rivers and mountains. He spotted a white-clothed figure in the distance, completely clad in dust, evidence of his long and arduous journey.

The white-clothes figure walked closer and closer until he reached the small tea shop. Smiling, he held up his bamboo hat and read the sign at the entrance, "Chance Encounter? A fascinating name."

Xie Lian nervously smiled,
'I really should clean myself up more during long trips.'

Although the figure appeared to be exhausted, he was very cheerful. The tea sommelier couldn't help but smile back. And the man with the bamboo hat then asked,
"Excuse me sir, but would you happen to know if Mount Yujun is nearby?"

The tea sommelier replied with,
"It is nearby," pointing in a direction. The figure let out a sigh of relief,
'I've finally arrived.' It was Xie Lian.
After he left the heavenly capital, he had already decided where to descend at in the mortal realm. It was supposed to be somewhere around Mount Yujun.

Yet, who knew that when he descended that his sleeve would get stuck on a cloud? Yes, his sleeve got stuck on a cloud. Even he didn't know it was possible. He tumbled out of the sky and ended up lost. After wandering for three days, he had finally made it to his original destination. And, for this moment, he was overjoyed.

"Your Highness, you've suffered a great deal!" Shi Qingxuan sighed internally. Everyone in the room was thinking the same thing. This crown prince.... truly has it rough. To have bad enough misfortune that it transcends logic!

Xie Lian could feel the eyes of everyone on him. He didn't know whether to laugh or cry, 'Are they really going to show everything?' He looked over to San Lang who had a complicated look on his face. Xie Lian knew he had been upset this whole time, but he didn't know why.

Xie Lian entered the small tea shop and ordered tea and refreshments, taking a seat by the window. And while he was sitting he heard cries and the sound of gongs.

He looked over and saw a group of women, men, children, and the elderly accompanying an ostentatious red bridal sedan on the main street. It looked strange, at a glance, it appeared to be normal.

But, if you took a closer look you would see the solemn expressions on their faces. The only emotion absent was joy. It didn't look like a joyous occasion at all, yet it still appeared to be a bridal procession. The tea sommelier looked up and only shook his head and turned away.

Xie Lian watched this for a moment before turning away. While he was reaching for the scroll Ling Wen gave him, he saw a brilliant light flash past his peripheral view. He turned his head and saw a silver translucent butterfly.

Mu Qing and Feng Xin's eyes widened and they said in unison,
'"Crimson Rain Sought Flower!" The entire room tensed just from hearing the name. Feng Xin spoke up again,

"Your Highness, you didn't tell me that you saw a silver butterfly beforehand!"
Xie Lian was puzzled,
"But, General Nan Yang, why would I tell you?"
To this, Feng Xin had no answer,
"Well... anything concerning Crimson Rain Sought Flower should be immediately reported!" He tried to say, before going silent entirely. Xie Lian wasn't sure what to say either in this uncomfortable silence so he just replied with,
"Next time, I'll keep that in mind."

It emitted behind it a glittering path. Xie Lian's curiosity got the better of him and he outstretched his hand towards it. The butterfly was smart and wasn't scared at all, even landing on his fingertips. It seemed to be an illusion that could shatter at the softest touch. And then it flew away.

Neither Feng Xin nor Mu Qing could describe it as something 'beautiful', but rather an imminent reminder of their
run-ins with its master. They internally shuddered.

And as a farewell, Xie Lian waved it goodbye. When he turned back around, there were two people sitting at his table. Both of them sitting across from him.

The two appeared to be around seventeen to nineteen. The person on the left was taller, he looked to carry an aura of haughtiness and willfulness.

Xie Lian quickly explained himself,
"General Nan Yang, General Xuan Zhen, I didn't mean any disrespect towards you or your junior officials." Mu Qing furrowed his brow,

"Your Highness, stop apologizing for everything, now you're even apologizing for your thoughts." Mu Qing coolly said.
"I'm so-, okay," Xie Lian stopped himself.

The person sitting on the right was pale, delicate, and fair. But, he had an aura of apathy and indifference. In conclusion, both of their expressions weren't very good. Xie Lian asked,
"And who are you two?"
"Nan Feng," the one on the left replied.
"Fu Yao," the one on the right replied.

'It's not that I was asking for your names...' Xie Lian thought.
He heard Ling Wen's voice in the array,
"Your Highness, there are two martial junior officials willing to assist you. They should have already arrived by now."

Xie Lian observed these two martial officials. Their expressions were bad, they didn't look as if they were 'willing to assist' at all. Xie Lian spoke to Ling Wen again,

"Ling Wen, are you sure they've come to help me and not wring my neck?" But his words didn't reach her. He guessed that his spiritual power had all been used up after having left the heavenly capital.

Left with no other choice, he smiled and said,
"Nan Feng, Fu Yao, thank you for coming to assist me." They nodded their heads. The two of them gave off a formidable presence, they were probably under the authority of powerful martial gods.

"Ming-xiong, those two 'powerful' martial gods are probably Xuan Zhen and Nan Yang, right?" Shi Qingxuan was pondering this, Ming Yi thoroughly ignored him.

Xie Lian asked for two more tea cups and poured tea for each of them,
"Which Royal Highnesses do you both serve under?"
"General Nan Yang," Nan Feng replied.
"General Xuan Zhen," Fu Yao replied.

"....."
This was certainly terrifying news. Xie Lian swallowed down the tea in his mouth,
"Did your generals tell you to come here?"
They both replied with, "My general doesn't know."

Xie Lian smiled gratefully, 'Thank you for helping me, Mu Qing, Feng Xin.' Their relationship couldn't ever be the same, but, he respected them and was grateful towards them.

Xie Lian thought about this, "Do you know who I am then?" If these two martial officials had been tricked by Ling Wen into coming, and they'd later be reprimanded by their generals, it's not worth it.
