Chapter 29: Chasing Truth between lies

**flashback**
A night before Albert and Samantha's unexpected encounter..

Samantha shouted, "NO!!!" as she woke up in the middle of the night.
She was alone in their room since Jerome is still mad at her.
"What was that??" "What does it mean??" Samantha asked herself..
"I've seen Albert in my dream... pero I'm so sure na hindi 'yun ang mukha nya ngayon... he was younger there..then I've seen the rest house in Batangas.." she whispered.
"That's so weird." She added.

Lately, Samantha has been experiencing headaches and emotional stress. It all started when she fall down from the stairs, it was 5 steps above the ground and her head was quite affected but she didn't mind it. Jerome was not even aware of that. That's why she decided to just take some pain relievers to ease the pain.

It took another hour for Samantha to fall asleep. She keeps thinking about her dream and all the random memories that flashing on her mind.

The moment she woke up in the morning, she immediately took the small cabinet under the bed and took the something..

She took the mysterious ring that always trigger her curiosity.
"I know there's something behind in this ring.." She said.
"And I'll figure it out."
**end of flashback**

"Samantha, are you okay?" Albert asked. He panicked when he saw tears falling from her eyes. Samantha couldn't respond. She just keep on crying.. Albert hugged her tight to comfort her since he didn't know what caused her to feel that way.

"Twenty years..." Those are the only words she could even say.. and handed Albert two rings..
Albert can't move, his eyes His eyes are widened. He knew it was the pair of his ring. The initials V and F.. It stands for Vince Albert and Francesca.

"Samantha, are you?.. No.. Ugh.. Ccc-Cesca???" Albert was stunned.

He didn't hear any words from her.. instead.. her arms pulled him for an emotional embrace..

Albert don't have to ask. He already knew. They both knew.

It was the moment they've been waiting for.

"Finally.." Albert said as he looked straightly to her eyes.

"You're back, my love.. " Albert whispered. And he can't help it.

He kissed her passionately.

That was the most emotional moment that day.

"I'm sorry....." Samantha is crying so hard...

"Sorry Albert kung hindi kagad ako naniwala sa'yo.. sorry kung nawala ako sa tabi mo ng matagal na panahon.. sorry kung nakalimot ako.. hindi ko alam paano ako napunta aa kanya.. paano nangyaei lahat... kung alam ko lang" She explained.

"Shhhhh... you don't have to say sorry Cesca.. wala kang kasalanan.." Albert comforts her.

"Pero I'm so stupid.. for twenty years naniwala ako na ako si Samantha.. na asawa nga ako ni Jerome... for so many years nagpagamit ako sa kasinungalingan nya.." Samantha can't help it..

"Pakiramdam ko pinagsamantalahan nya yung sitwasyon ko Albert....I can't even imagine na ganun katagal akong nagpagamit kay Jerome..." Samantha was so ashamed for that.

Albert held her hands.

"'Wag ko na munang isipin lahat ng 'yon.. magbabayad si Jerome sa lahat ng ginawa nya sayo.. ipakukulong ko sya." Albert angrily said.

"Hindi.. hindi ganun kadali lahat.. kulang ang makulong lang sya.. gusto kong iparanas sa kanya lahat ng sakit na naramdaman ko.." She said.

"Nandito lang ako para sa'yo Cesca.. but for now.. please... let me take care of you..." Albert said and look into her gloomy eyes.

It's been a long day.. but Jerome spent hia whole day drinking alone on their house.

"I've never been a good husband to Samantha.." Jerome said.

"I can't lose her again.. from now on, hahayaan ko na kung ano ang gusto nya.. hindi ko na din sya paghihigpitan... 'wag lang syang mawala sakin..." he cried.

Then finally, he received a call from Samantha.

"It's me Jerome, uhm.. I'm sorry I can't come home tonight." Samantha said.

"Oh, I see. Just take care.." Jerome said and took a sip of his wine.

"I just have to fix something, uuwi din ako kagad once maging okay na.." she said.

"Okay, no problem honey.." he said with no emotion.

"Are you sure it's fine with you?" She curioisly asked.

"Of course honey, I trust you.. and I'm so sorry kung nag away na naman tayo kahapon.. Hindi na mauulit." Jerome said.

Samantha's POV

Sounds weird but, I don't see any reason para pagdudahan ako ni Jerome. Sa lahat ng panlolokong ginawa nya sakin. He deserve to be alone. He should be ready once I came back. Sisimulan ko na ang paniningil ko sa lahat ng kasalanan nya sakin.

"Okay, let's forget about it. Take care honey, I gotta go.." I ended the call.

Were here at Batangas.. sa Rest house namin. I asked him to bring me back here. Lalo ko nang naalala ang lahat lahat. I knew it, the first time I went here nung inaakala ko pa na ako si Samantha, alam ko na na merong kakaiba sa rest house na ito. Alam kong part sya ng buhay ko.

My heart beats faster when someone kissed my neck from my back.

"Albert.." I whispered. I know he missed me alot.

Albert just came back from locking the door downstairs. It's already 9pm when we finished our dinner. He cooked for me and treat me the way he used to treat me before.
How I missed the old days.

"You should sleep now, my love.. It's been a long day." He told me as he touches my hands.

I nodded.

I just can't imagine that I'm with him right now.. all these years he have been misserable without me. And now, I won'tnlet anything happen para mawala ulit ako sa kanya. I can't lose him again.

"I missed you, Albert.." I said clearly because I reallly do.

"I missed you more, Cesca..and I thank God for bring you back to my life now.." he whispered on my ears.

Surprisingly, he held my hands and said something very romantic.

"Let's forget about everything and be madly inlove.."

I just closed my eyes, and responded to his desireful kisses..

I won't turn back. This moment could mean everything to me. We both deserve to be happy after all the sufferings we've been through.

Albert's POV

"Let's forget about everything and be madly inlove.." I whispered to her ears.

She need not to say anything. I could see clearly through her eyes..the love that we've lost is now getting back to it's home.

I kissed her passionately..
Gently touching her hair, and then her face..

Her smile means that she is really happy to be with me right now.

And it all went through the flow of our desire and by the way she responds with my actions, I know that she's completely mine.

She's really my goddess.
