A month after, Samantha and Jerome tried everything to save their marriage. So far, they’re still surviving. They spent the whole month together. They usually play their favorite sport which is tennis. During weekdays, they usually spent their time at home watching their favorite films and during weekends, they go to church and visit their son Jacob after the mass.

Jerome woke up around 7am and he just can’t help but smile, knowing that last night, they had the best night of their marriage. That moment he knew that Samantha belongs to him not to some other guy. Then he suddenly recall the last time he had with Lauren.

*Flashback (Nung na-late si Jerome ng sundo kay Samantha sa Resto-bar ni Ria)*

“Bakit ba kasi hindi mo pa iwan si Samantha? Tayong dalawa na lang..” Lauren said while Jerome is putting on his polo.

“Hindi ko iiwan si Samantha, alam mo ang dahilan.. and please, tigilan na natin toh Lauren, pagod na pagod na kong makipag lokohan sa’yo..” Jerome yelled at her.

“C’mon dear, alam mo din naman ang reason bakit hindi mo ko magawang iwan..” Lauren said and let go of an evil laugh.

“Sh*t!” Jerome cursed.

“I know what will make you stay..” Lauren said and Jerome got curious.

“What is it again? I’m tired of this..” Jerome said.

“I have a good news, ‘yung lalaking karibal mo kay Samantha.. kasal na sha, at hinding hindi na sila magkikita ng asawa mo..” Lauren said while drinking her glass of red wine.

“Talaga? Paano mo naman nalaman yan?" Jerome asked.

"You know I never reveal my sources.. but just to assure you, here are some of their wedding photos.” Lauren said and handed him some photos

Jerome was speechless.

“So, ano, siguro naman makakampante ka na?” Lauren asked him

But instead of answering, Jerome left without saying a word. Lauren just smirked. She won again.

Jerome hurriedly fixed himself and drove his car so he could go to his wife.

*End of Flashback*

Samantha woke up and the first thing that flashed on her mind is that Jerome is going to leave today. They have to pretend that this day is gonna be a normal day for them. They ate breakfast together, and after a few hours, they left their house.

In few hours, Jerome is leaving for Hong Kong. He will be there for ten months, The car which was the reward for him was also given to them a week before his flight. It is  the latest car in town, 2013 SRT Viper.

JEROME’s POV

New car for us.. Di ko ma explain ang feeling, 2013 SRT Viper? Napakagandang reward. But at the same time, di ko naman gusto ang kapalit. Ten months akong malalayo kay Samantha.. ngayon pa na sobrang saya na naming dalawa.. Aayusan ko na lang ang trabaho ko, para hindi magkaroon ng problema at matapos kagad ang project within ten months.
