Chapter 38: Make it worth my pain

Chapter 38:

"Do we really need to go there?" Valeen asked her husband Albert.

They were getting ready to have dinner at Ria's Resto. They got an invitation from Ria and they couldn't ignore it. Ria's the girlfriend of his bestfriend Peter so they couldn't just say no to them.

"Of course, Peter is expecting for us to be there" Albert replied.

"And besides, diba you're friends with Samantha, it's her last performance sa resto, hindi mo ba sya gustong makita?" Albert added and looked at her eyes. That's one thing he's hoping for. He want's to see Cesca. He wants to talk to her, to beg her to please stay.

"So talagang alam na alam mo ang schedule ni Samantha? Baka naman ikaw ang me mas gustong makita sya?" Valeen said and Albert noticed the change of her mood.

"Wait, what's wrong with you Val, bakit ba parang galit na galit kay Samantha?"
Albert asked.

A few moments of silence between them. Valeen thought that she's just over reacting.
"I'm not.. napapansin ko lang kasi mukhang sobrang concern mo lately kay Sam.." Valeen tone down her voice.

Albert finished fixing his polo and took his wallet from their dresser beside his wife.

"Can't you just stop being childish, Valeen? Lahat na lang ata ngayon pinag seselosan mo. Kung ayaw mong sumama, it's fine.." Albert left their room without even looking back at her.

"Hon wake up.. you still have to attend to work later.." Jerome whispered to Cesca's ears.

She is sleeping too much today. Her usual routines has been changed to eat-sleep-eat again-sleep again and Jerome couldn't do anything about it. "I don't wanna go.. tinatamad ako.. " Cesca responded.

Jerome smirked. He knew it. Mood swing again.

"Hey Sam, you better wake up, diba Mishca is expecting you tonight? So wake up.." Jerome said and took the comforter that was covering Cesca's body.

"Yeah yeah.. I know.. but can you please put back the comforter.. inaantok pa ko... saka na eexpose ang sexy kong katawan so give it back to me." Cesca said while laughing.

"Fine, I'll give you 5minutes. Pag hindi ka pa rin gumising, lagot ka sakin.." Jerome said and left her.

Jerome's POV

Ganito pala ang feeling pag buntis ang asawa mo, kailangan ng napakahabang pasensya.

But then nasasanay na ko sa kanya. I just hope ganito na lang kami palagi. Wala ng maging problema. I'm fine with this set up. Who the hell cares if I'm not the biological father of her baby. As long as I have them in my life, I'm good with it. 'Wag ko lang malalaman na niloloko pa rin ako ni Samantha. Hindi ko alam ang pwede kong gawin.

"Sam, you gotta wake up now. Your 5-minute extention time is already up... I'm serious, pag hindi ka bumangon dyan I'll laydown beside you and I won't ever stop cuddling you.." I told her.

Her eyes widened. "Eto na po babangon na.." She smiled.

"So it seems like you don't want to cuddle with me.." I told her seriously. She looked stunned.

"Of course not" She said and hugged me from my back and kissed me.

"I just remember what you've told me. Mishca's expecting us to be there so I gotta prepare diba?" She said while still hugging me.

"Yeah, sabi ko nga.. sige na mag prepare ka na." I smiled and kissed her forehead.

Cesca went to the bathroom to take a shower while Jerome went down stairs.
