Chapter 7: Once you fall in love there's no going back to being just friends

“I never thought that you’ll gonna ask me to go on a date with you Albert” Valeen said as they arrived at the resto-bar owned by Peter’s girlfriend.

Although she’s sick, Valeen knows how to hide her down side, She looks so normal and healthy.

“Bakit naman hindi? You’re my wife now..” Albert said.

Valeen just smiled.

“Let’s go..” Albert said and they went inside.

Peter saw them coming so he waved his hand. Valeen and Albert walked towards Peter.

“I’m glad you’ve made it, Hi Valeen” Peter welcomed them.

“Hello Peter, it was nice to see you again..” Valeen said.

They all sat down and the waiter started to get their orders. Peter is still waiting for her girlfriend Ria to join them when the instrumentals started to play..

“Albert, sya yung singer na sinasabi ko sayo, yung friend ni Ria..” Peter asked as the singer started to sing..

Albert’s POV

Si Samantha???

Si Samantha ang singer na tinutukoy ni Peter?

Ang liit talaga ng mundo.

Samantha is wearing a Lipsy High Neck Baroque Lace Dress..

Coincidence na naka lace dress na naman si Samantha..

And guess what? She’s wearing the necklace that I gave her last month.

Naalala ko na naman sa kanya si Cesca..

Sign kaya ito? Sign of what? Naguguluhan na ko..

“Albert, are you okay?” Valeen asked me. Siguro nahalata nya na medyo na bigla ako nung nakita ko si Samantha. I have to pretend na ayos lang ako, na hindi ko kilala si Samantha.. Ayokong malaman ni Valeen kung sino si Samantha at paano kami nagka kilala.

“Yeah I’m okay..” I said.

Samantha’s POV

Actually, I’m not feeling well today, but since I have a singing engagement tonight, tumuloy pa din ako, ayoko naman i-let down ang friend ko na si Ria, sinundo nya pa kasi ako sa house kanina.. nakakahiya.

Buti isang song number lang ako tonight, then pwede na akong umuwi, pagbibigyan ko lang talaga si Ria.. I hope dumating din kagad si Jerome..
