“Are you sure Ms. Madrigal? Sayang naman. ” Mrs. Reynante said as she went out of her office with Samantha.
“I’m really sorry Ma’am, I just need to find myself, masyado po kasing komplikado, hindi ko po alam saan ako mag sisimula, and besides, ayoko pong madamay ang trabaho ko..” Samantha explained.
“I understand you, basta kung magbago ang isip mo at gusto mong bumalik sa pag-tuturo, welcome ka pa din sa dito sa school.” The principal said.
“Thank you Mrs. Reynante, I have to go.” Samantha said goodbye to the school principal.
Apparently, Mishca overheard Samantha’s conversation with the school principal.
“Nag-resign ka na po Teacher Sam??? Ayaw mo na po ba sa amin???” Mishca said and she almost cried.
Samantha was shocked when she heard Mishca’s voice coming from her back.
SAMANTHA’s POV
“Mishca??? Kanina ka pa ba dyan?” I was shocked when I heard my student’s voice.
“Is that true Teacher Sam?? Please tell me I was wrong..” Mishca asked me again.
“Mishca, uh, I’m really sorry but I have to do this.. Masyadong magulo ang buhay ko ngayon at madami pa akong dapat alamin at pag-ayusin. I’m really sorry but, Yes, I’m quitting my job..” I told her and began holding her hands to let her feel my sincerity.
“Pero Teacher… Pwede mo naman gawin ‘yun ng di nagreresign..” my student insisted.
“No Mishca, you don’t understand.. I really have to. Ganito na lang, since uwian na naman, why don’t you come with me, kain tayo sa labas, my treat..” I thought of that idea para naman mapangiti ko ang student ko.
“I love to Teacher Sam, pero baka po hindi ako payagan ng parents ko..” Mishca said.
“Don’t worry tatawagan ko na lang sila at ipagpapaalam kita, ako na din ang maghahatid sa’yo pauwi.” I told her.
“Okay po Teacher Sam..” Mishca said as she took her school bag.
