Chapter 15: If you got me, I got you

6:30PM, Tanay, Rizal

Albert’s POV

I can’t believe this.. I am with Samantha right now.. ang babaeng pinaka mamahal ko..

And I know that she is Cesca..

Sapat na sakin na nalaman ko na hindi patay si Cesca para paniwalaan ko na si Cesca at Samantha ay iisa..

I don’t care about anything.. isa lang ang alam ko.. Si Samantha ang na ang buhay ko..

At lahat gagawin ko ‘wag lang sha ulit mawala sakin.

“I’ll never let you go Samantha.. never.. hindi ko na hahayaan na magkahiwalay tayo..” Albert said and grab Samantha’s hand.

“I just want you to know that I’ve never felt like this before.. Hindi ko ma-explain ang feeling but I’m pretty sure, I am really happy to be with you..” Samantha replied and gave him a sweet smile.

Albert pulled her for a short hug.

Samantha’s POV

I’m quite surprised when Albert pulled my hands and hug me for a while. At first oo nagugulat ako, but then, nasasanay na ko na kasama sha.. I never felt this kind of happiness.

That moment was interrupted by a phone call.

Albert got a phone call from her wife.

Of course I was so guilty.. knowing that Valeen is a very nice person to betray.

But then, nangignibabaw yung pagmamahal k okay Albert.. hindi naman naming gusting saktan sila ni Jerome. It just happen na mahal naming ang isa’t isa.

I pretended na hindi ko pinakikinggan ang usapan nila.. pero ang totoo dinig na dinig ko lahat ng sagot ni Albert.

“Yes Valeen?” Albert answered.

“I’m sorry but hindi na ako aabot ng dinner jan sa bahay.. baka kasi gabihin ako ng uwi..” Albert said, eh 6PM pa lang naman.. ano na naman kaya ang balak nito..

“Thanks for understanding.. I have to go..” Albert said and was about to end the call when he mumbled something.

“Okay..  I.. I love you too. Bye.” Albert said and suddenly looked at my face.

I didn’t react. Instead I pretended that I didn’t hear anything..

Yes nag selos ako..sabi nya hindi nya naman mahal si Valeen.. but I have to respect that, Valeen is his wife.. I have nothing to do with that.

Nagulat na lang ako ng nilapitan ako ni Albert.. at biglang nagpaliwanag..

“I just said that para hindi na magduda si Valeen.. sorry..” He said and trying to get my sympathy.

“You don’t have to explain..” Sabi ko sa kanya. Pero mukha namang ayaw nyang maniwala.

“But I want to..” Albert insisted.

“Albert please, I believe you, okay? Simula pa lang toh ha, pero nagtatalo na agad tayo..paano pa pag tumagal..” I said out of nowhere. Hindi ko alam bakit ko nasabi yun sa kanya.

But instead na kausapin nya ko.. niyakap na lang nya ako.. This is probably the thing that I like about him.. yung pagiging understanding nya at pagiging pasensyoso..

I hug him back and I asked him if pwede na ba kaming umuwi dahil dumidilim na sa lugar..

“Sure..” he replied.

And the accompanied me as we walk towards his black monterosport.

After Jerome finished his appointment with their clients in Laguna, we felt worried and terrible.
