Dream adores children, such vivid and creative dreamers they are. So receptive to the lessons his creations impart on them.

Even so the idea of having a child of his own again aches. He still cannot forgive himself for Orpheus. The guilt he feels about it makes him feel that he is not worthy of being a parent again.

Yet at the same time a part of him yearns to try again, to be better this time.

When he learns that you want to have a child as well it makes his distant yearning into constant desires for a child.

Now that he knows you are ready to have a child with him, to bless him with such an honor- its all he can think about. You round with child, him being free to dote on you (even more than he already does) in front of any guest.

It leads to many passionate love making sessions that last all night. Focused on your pleasure alone with the sole exceptions being what is needed on his end to create the child. He holds you in his arms in the best position to conceive.

Once you are with child he delights over every symptom while also despairing over your morning sickness. He keeps fearing that you or the child are hurt when anything occurs. In part this is due to having not having seen the symptoms in person before. Calliope did not live with him full time even when with child.

Anything you crave is given to you in an instant, better than your cravings even dream.

He spends forever working on the nursery, never fully satisfied with it. The few aspects he does manage to settle on are a mobile of a swirling galaxy pulled from the sky, and a plush raven for his child.

Dream doesn't want you to lift a finger the whole pregnancy. The two of you have minor arguments where you tell him that you are allowed to do things. So he delights immensely when partial bed rest is recommended for you to prevent early labor. It means both that you child is almost here, but that he can overbearingly dote on you without restraint.

When he holds your child for the first time he cries, expressing how he is so worried he will mess up again and lose them. Even exhausted you reassure him, the whole group of you spending a few minutes clinging to each other.

Eventually he has to show the child to his siblings who are so excited for another addition to the family.

For the first few weeks Dream refuses to let your child sleep anywhere but in one of your arms. The crib he spent several months creating, not getting used as Dream cannot put his child down. He spoils them but doesn't indulge every whim.

When the idea of a sibling for them is brought up by you he pounces.
