Morpheus had no idea how he managed to get into a relationship with such a wonderful human. And neither did most of the people he knew.

You were kind to everyone you met, always willing to help others. That was originally what had drawn Morpheus to you.

He needed something good in his life, then he met you. And fell in love with your goodness.

You enjoy the simple things in life, the everyday stuff that Morpheus had forgotten to care about over his life. As an immortal, he had grown to accept and ignore those things.

But the more time he spent with you, the more he remembered the little joys of the world.  

He knew it wasn't going to be easy for the two of you, with you being a human. But despite his warnings and all the chances he gave you to leave, you stayed by his side.

You didn't need love to be easy, you loved him for who he was. And you are willing to stand by him despite the obstacles.

Morpheus wants to give you everything your heart desired. But to his confusion and respect, you don't want anything except for him.

Riches and power are useless to you. Your life is simple, and Morpheus is the only special thing that you need.

You love to spent time with him. Talking, or just relaxing by his side. The comfort of being near your lover was the most wonderful feeling in the world.

As long as you have him, you're happy. And so is he. He was sweeter when he was with you, and everyone noticed that.

He wanted to give you immortality, but you declined it as well. Just wanting to live your life like you should.

Although he wanted you to change your mind, he knew he could try and convince you later. For now, you taught him to cherish every moment spent together.

And that was worth everything to him.
