I was fixing my well-woven tux in front of the mirror for this very special day. This would be the best decision I ever made in my entire life. No business deals could compare to this kind of investment I was submitting myself to.
I was having mixed emotions and I thought I was not handling it very well. It was too cold in this room but I felt hot and electrified. I couldn't wait to see my Eden yet I couldn't help myself but get so much nervous. My heart was beating so fast right now and I couldn't imagine what would happen later on when I saw her in her wedding gown.
"I'm so happy. I am the happiest mother on Earth," Mom cried when she entered my room. She was in her scarlet long gown. She was on her full makeup already but she was ruining it by crying so early.
"Don't cry, Mom."
"I can't help it. I am so proud of you. You chose the right woman. Eden is such a nice girl and she loves you a lot. I don't have to worry about you," she cried more.
"You really don't have to worry about me, Mom. If I wouldn't be married to Eden then I could take care of myself on my own," I told her.
She slapped my arm. "I can't let you live on your own."
I hugged my Mom in return. "Mom, I know as a mother, you care so much about me and my future." I pulled from hugging her. "You don't have to think about me though your plate is still full for my two brothers."
"You're right." My mother laughed a bit. "You look so handsome. I still can't believe I was able to bear three gorgeous men. I'm the luckiest."
"Mom, you can't take all the credits," natatawang sagot ko sa kanya.
"You are all mine," she said.
I gave her a warm smile. "Of course, Mom."
The ceremony was about to start so Mom and I went out to go downstairs to the venue. My initial plan was a church wedding but when I asked my Eden, she wanted to do the beach one. She asked me about what I wanted but I rather agreed with her.
Hezron stood beside me near the altar who happened to be my best man. I might have made the wrong decision in choosing him since he'd been unusually quiet, and not talking made me more nervous. I should've asked Galip.
Halos lahat kami ay nagulat nang makita si Mom na tumayo sa may gilid at bitbit ang violin nya. I never heard my Mom played, but heard stories about how good she was at it.
"Mom's playing?" I heard Hezron react.
No one either had informed me that she'd be playing. My Mom started off by playing an unfamiliar piece. I didn't understand any single note but it was enchanting. Among my brothers, I was the only person who was not musically inclined but the way my Mom was playing, she moved my heart without knowing.
Then she continued in a familiar song. A love song. When the procession started, the heart in my chest wanted to escape and my eyes burned. My paradise clearly warned me not to cry and not to steal her moment walking down the aisle.
When I saw my Eden with her Mom, my tears broke away, I tried so hard not to but I was just so happy. As she wanted, all eyes were on her. She is heavenly. She is a siren. She's a life of beauty, very luxurious.
The first time I saw her looking so sexy and tight in her small piece of clothing, I told myself I'd bring her home with me. She was prettier when she smiled, the way she walked enthralled me, and her bare back was screaming sex.
