Chapter 23
“Mr. Kim, you can be discharged now. From now on, please be more careful, so this won't happen again.” Doctor Seok told him.
“Thank you, doc.” Taehyung smiled.
“You're welcome, I'll head out now.” Doctor Seok replied and left.
“Can you stand up?” Jungkook asked him.
“Yeah…” Taehyung slowly gets down on the hospital bed.
He almost fell off, but luckily, Jungkook was in front of him, catching him by grabbing his waist quickly.
“Be careful” Jungkook told him and let go of his waist.
“Thank you” He responded with awkwardness in his tone.
“Let's go now” Jungkook walked away first while carrying Taehyung's bag.
Taehyung sighed and followed Jungkook. Being with Jungkook for a week was filled with silence. They don't talk to each other as if they are strangers. They will just have a conversation when Jungsoo visits them. Jungkook will just take a rest after that.
“Get inside,” Jungkook said, opening the door of the car, beside the driver's seat.
Taehyung thought he'll be in the passenger seat, but he didn't have any choice but to sit beside Jungkook because Jungkook put the bag in the passenger seat. Jungkook went inside to the driver's seat and drives away.
Again, it was pure silence, no one bothered to open their mouth. Even though Taehyung wanted to have at least a conversation, he didn't know what topic he should bring up.
Not until he noticed that Jungkook was driving on a different road, he was sure he didn't get amnesia or so what. This is not the way to his house.
“Uh, Jungkook, this is not the way to my house.” Taehyung told Jungkook.
“I know.” Jungkook shortly responded.
“Where are you going to bring me? If you're going somewhere else, you can just drop me here.” Taehyung uttered.
“Just shut your mouth.” Jungkook retorted without bothering to look at him.
Taehyung swallowed hard and did what Jungkook told him.
If Jungkook can't kill people, could he kidnap a defenseless person like him?
“I'm not going to kidnap you, Taehyung.” He flinched when he heard Jungkook say that.
“I… I didn't say anything” Taehyung muttered.
“You said it out loud.” Jungkook said.
“I'm sorry” Taehyung mumbled, biting his bottom lip instead.
He felt embarrassed that he didn't realize he was saying it out loud.
“We're here.” Jungkook spoke and got out of the car.
Taehyung looked around and noticed that he was familiar with this place. He was right when he saw the cabin.

It was the cabin that they were supposed to live in back then after he gave birth to Jungsoo if Jungkook's mother didn't interfere with their plans.
“What are we doing here?” He asked Jungkook, who was taking out his bag from the car.
“Follow me.” Jungkook said and closed the door of the car.
Taehyung followed Jungkook inside the cabin. He roamed his eyes and noticed nothing had changed in the cabin. He didn't even realize that he was smiling, remembering good old memories in the cabin.
“From now on, you will stay here, since your house is under renovation.” Jungkook stated.
Right, he remembered that Yul wrecked his house.
“But how about your mother?” Taehyung asked.
Since the ownership of the cabin was in Mirae's name, she had the right to decide on the cabin.
“This is mine now, she won't interfere with my decision on what's mine.” Jungkook told him.
“I can just stay somewhere else, I…”
“Did you hear what I just said?” Jungkook didn't let him finish his sentence.
“Yes” Taehyung sighed.
“Go and take a shower, I'll arrange your stuff.” Jungkook said and opened the bag.
“Okay, thank you.” Taehyung uttered.
He went upstairs and left Jungkook alone downstairs.
