Chapter 24
Since when it starts raining so hard?
Taehyung had just gotten out of the bathroom, and now it was raining as if it were some sort of typhoon.
“Jungkook, are you going home tonight?” Taehyung asked while walking downstairs.
“If the rain stops, I will.” Jungkook responded after properly folding Taehyung's clothes.
“You can just stay here, this is yours. It seemed the rain won't stop early, it will be dangerous for you to drive this late. Besides, the bed is huge, we can share it if you'd like.” Taehyung stated while drying his hair with the towel.
First of all, why did Taehyung say that?
Well, he didn't know too, it just came out of his mouth. And he just realized it right now.
“Okay, I'll just take a shower.” Jungkook went upstairs, bringing the folded clothes with him.
Taehyung shook his head and followed Jungkook upstairs. He felt sleepy right now and wanted to take a rest. He lay down on the bed and took Jungkook's phone to scroll down for a while.
Jungkook's phone has a password, but Taehyung could still try unlocking it because he remembered the password, unless, Jungkook changed it. He pressed the number 123095 and it worked.
It's kind of weird that Jungkook's phone password was his birthday, yet he shrugged it off. Maybe Jungkook was just lazy to change it.
While scrolling, he looked at the bathroom door when it opened. And he can't deny that Jungkook got a goddamn beautiful body. He didn't realize that he was staring too hard, not until his eyes met Jungkook. He quickly turned away and put the phone down on the bed.
He felt Jungkook lay down beside him and for some reason, he can feel the heat going to his cheeks.
“Jungkook” He uttered without turning around to face him.
“Hm?” Jungkook responded.
“If we stay here rather than living with your parents, do you think we will still be together until now with Jungsoo?” Taehyung asked.
That question goes into his mind when he arrived in the cabin.
“I think so, but if you didn't cheat, maybe we will still be together.” Jungkook retorted.
“Will you believe me if I say I didn't cheat? Do you trust me, Jungkook?” Taehyung inquired, biting his bottom lip.
“I trusted you, Taehyung, but what you did hurts me. I felt like my love was not enough for you. I don't want to believe what they said because I want Jungsoo to grow up with us, but Taehyung, the proof against you was clear enough that you cheated. I gave you a chance to explain them, but you didn't say anything. How do you want me to believe you?” Jungkook stated.
Truthfully, Taehyung can't remember anything about what happened to him and to that guy. Even if he wanted to remember, nothing came into his mind, that's why he couldn't say anything. The “witness” against him even proved his cheating allegations.
“I'm sorry for bringing that, good night.” Taehyung wiped his tears and closed his eyes.
An hour passed after that, and Jungkook turned to face Taehyung's back. He pulled Taehyung closer to him and intertwined their fingers.
“I'm sorry, Taehyung, I had to do that, I love you so much. Please forgive me, I will fix everything. Just give me some time, love.”
Jungkook uttered, hugging his ex-husband tightly while silently sobbing as he can.
