Chapter 35
“Jungsoo, make sure to look after your Appa. Dad is going somewhere, Uncle Jimin will accompany you later.” Jungkook told his son while they were in his room where Taehyung was currently sleeping.
“Are you going to come back quick?” Jungsoo asked and stopped playing with his toy truck.
Jungkook crouched down in front of Jungsoo and ruffled his hair.
“Yes, it won't take so long. Don't stress your Appa, okay? It will be bad for his health and your sibling, so take care of him, do you understand?” Jungkook said.
“Yes, Dad, Jungsoo will be a good boy.” Jungsoo smiled.
“Good, I'll go now, don't let someone in unless it's me or your uncle Jimin.” Jungkook stood up.
Jungsoo nodded his head and Jungkook left the cabin to go to his mother's house. She said they had to talk about something important, so Jungkook accepted it because he also had to tell her something.
“Jungkook, you took so long, your fiancé's parents are already here. Come on now, I'm sure they are excited to hear the good news.” Mirae said when she saw Jungkook coming inside the house.
Jungkook sat down on the chair in front of his fiancé's parents while Shin was beside him.
“Finally, we're able to set up a meeting like this.” Yungso started the conversation, he's the father of Shin.
“Please, get straight on the point. I just spare some time here but I only have 10 minutes to attend an important meeting after this.” Jungkook retorted without looking at them because he was busy eating.
“Jungkook, they were happy when I told them that the wedding will happen next month. I'm sure you are happy to hear that too, right?” Mirae smiled.
Jungkook took off the napkin on his lap and wiped off his lips.
“No, I'm not, it's actually frustrating to hear.” Jungkook bluntly replied, looking at his mother who was surprised with his response.
Her smile quickly faded away from her face.
“What are you talking about? We've been planning this for so long. How can you say something like that?” Mirae inquired, glaring at him.
“No, you have been planning this for so long. I didn't even agree on marrying her, it was all your decision.” Jungkook argued.
“Why are you complaining right now? The wedding is already planned.” Mirae retorted.
“I don't want to continue this wedding because my husband is pregnant.” Jungkook told them.
They were all shocked to hear that while Jungkook didn't even hesitate to say the truth.
“Husband? Don't tell me that's Taehyung, you are divorced with him!” Mirae yelled.
“If it's not Taehyung, who do you think will it be? I didn't marry anyone else beside Taehyung, though.” Jungkook smiled.
“So what if he's pregnant? It's not your problem, why would you even bring that topic here? It's not related to your wedding with Shin.” Mirae grinned.
“Don't you understand the situation, Mom? I made Taehyung pregnant so of course, I will take responsibility for our baby.” Jungkook smirked.
It was obvious that Mirae didn't like what he was doing right now. But Jungkook doesn't care because he's still the father of the baby that Taehyung is carrying in his belly.
