¡¡¡WARNING!!! ¡¡SEIGE AND STORM SPOILER AHEAD!!
AUTHOR'S NOTE: ∆Pic above is what Nikolai is. I tried to find a Soulmate can, but failed. :'( So I changed the story details. It makes it sound better. Hopefully you guys like it! Please tell me what you think. You are free to message me if you have questions. I might not answer right away because I don't always have internet, but I will try to answer as soon as I can. Sorry, I have not updated in a while. Mother Nature and I had a hate relationship. I wanted to puke my guts out, and when I got better I got posion ivy all over one of my arms, so I had to type with one arm. Sorry guys. But it is finally up! Saints' Speed -AnnaAs soon as I saw my baby sister fast asleep in her crib, the anger burning my veins melted away into guilt. Maybe I had taken it a little to far with Alina. I sighed. She was my mother after all. "Raas." I cooed, trying to rouse the sleeping girl. "Wake up, Raas. Mommy's home." Raleigh blinked sleeply up at me.
"Mommy?" Raleigh asked with a yawn. I nodded. She held her arms open for me to pick her up. I lifted her onto my hip. When she was settled, I went to meet Mom.
I was met in the living room with an unearthly shriek. It was like nothing I had ever heard on this planet. Even though it set the hair on my arm on end, I pushed on. And what I saw horrified me.
The creature was like nothing I had ever seen. It's unearthly body clicked and whirled like no natural creature. It's face was void of features, and it looked exactly like what I thought a volcra would. There were two major differences, though. This creature seemed to be made from shadow and it did not fear the light. It did not fear Alina. It did not fear me.
It had to be an illusion. Grisha couldn't create life. It had to be an illusion.
I set Raleigh behind me as Alina lashed out with the Cut. It burned through the creature with a mighty flash of light. The creature wavered, like it was going to take another step, then burst apart into shadow. The Darkling raised his hand and another one quickly took it's place. It was followed by three more.
AUTHOR'S NOTE AHEAD➡So I am having serious writer's block right now!...*Me five mintues later* Help!! I'm being dragged under by a tide of nothingness! It's turning my poor creative brain into a sane person's!! Help!! *voice gets quieter and more distant* I'm drowning!...Sombody...Please...Help...Where is the Darkling when you need him?...
Poison Ivy...itches...terribly! Saints' Speed -AnnaAlina wiped one out, but the other two were on her before she had time to react. I freaked out. They were going to kill Alina, and all I could do was summon a harmless ray of light. I was useless to save her.
But something inside of me thought otherwise. I raised my hand in the same movement as Alina. I didn't think anything would happen, but I guess I was wrong. Light burst from me in a shining arc that split the creature in two. It burst into shadow.
I felt my eyes widen. Had I really just did that? Alina couldn't do that before she had the stag's power, so why could I? Everybody turned to stare at me.
Raleigh, being the one year old she was, ran to Alina like nothing was happening. Everybody in the room seemed to forget the creature. Besides two. The Darkling and me. I had to warn Alina. "Mom! The creature!" But I was drowned out by my baby sister as she caught sight of it. "Mama! Monster!" Alina whipped around as the thing lifted her off of the ground. I was very wrong in thinkimg it had no mouth. It did have one. One full of razor sharp teeth that bit deeply into Alina's shoulder. She screamed which caused Raleigh to scream.
It released Alina from it's monsteress arms. She limply fell forward. Raleigh crouched beside Alina, crying and balling her eyes out. Raleigh started to shake her. "Mama! Mama, wake up! Please, Mama!"
The creature was still lurching about, so I sent a blazing arc of light through it's middle. Then I rushed to Alina's side and scooped Raleigh up into my arms.
AUTHOR'S NOTE AHEAD!!➡I am having writer's block again. I swear this block is so big it makes Mount Everest look small! I'm working on it, though, so don't freak out! My twin (@EllaPenning) and I were just having a fight about trying to convince the other twin that their writing was amazing while also trying to convince the that twin that their own work is terrible. OK, so I don't know if you guys can understand that but I just confused myself. :-\ You guys should really check out Ella's story Nothing because it is amazing, and I am not just saying that because she is my twin. Her work is really good. So...I'm going to go and try to write again. I'm not making promises. I most likely won't get any work done. So, bye. Saints' Speed. Poison Ivy still itches. :'( -Anna
So I'm adding random songs off my playlist at the end of ever chappie from now on, but I don't know how to actually add them so you guys will have to look them up.
