C H A P T E R_19

Bryan's POV
  (A/N: surprise that he has a POV? Hehe, me too :) )

   Capturing these pests was an easy job, I'm used to it anyway. I tied them up and Win's men put them inside the van, I basically knocked those guys out, so they'll probably be asleep until sunrise.

   "Sir, sir Aj requested for you to go to their location" one of the men told me.

    My attention diverted as soon as I heard AJ's name.

   "Okay, get these guys to the dungeon in the south side" I said before heading off.

    Okay, I might seem in denial but, I can't simply tell my brother that I'm falling for one of his friends slash assistant. That will be a bit hard to explain, not that I worry since I knew he already got the hint.

   Tell.....not.....time.......

   Arriving at the location, they're already cleaning up but I don't see my brother anywhere. I'm pretty sure this is where he's headed. I parked my motorcycle and went inside the warehouse.

   I took a look around and saw that they're already taking some boxes out. I saw AJ and Mix talking on the corner with some men. And of course, AJ's holding his iPad. I walked up to them and Mix's the one who noticed me first.

   "Oh, hey, Bryan" He said, gaining AJ's attention.

  "Hey, how's everything?"

   "We're handling it well" AJ answered after dismissing they were talking to earlier. "Though, I believe you managed to retrieve the items?"

   "The poisons, yes. The box that's full of the Serpentbite's things? No" I said.

   Aj sighed and shook his head. "I guess we now have a clue on who did this"

  "We can't jump into conclusions" Mix said, crossing his arms on his chest. "They're not the only one who's after the Serpentbite's information and objects."

  "So you're saying that someone revealed the location of the warehouse?" AJ asked.

   "That's one way to interpret it" Mix answered

   "Okay, okay, boys, settle down" I cut them off and they both looked ta me with serious expression on their faces. "Everything is now under control, I think they intentionally left the poisons to divert our attention from the box"

  "That is the problem, Bry" AJ said turning his body towards me and looking at me with an irritated face. Damn...he looks so cute. "That box contains most of the important things that will lead us to where their exact location is"

   "Calm down, ba—I -I mean, AJ." Damn it, I almost said Babe. "We'll figure something out"

  "Yeah, no thanks. They probably already got the box meters away from us" He said before walking away.

   Gret, now he's mad. I don't even get it? Why at me? I was busy trailing the guys we just saw.

   "LQ?" Mix asked.

   "What?" I asked. Even though I clearly heard what he said.

   He shook his head and said. "Nothing, anyway, I think you should know"

  "Know what?"

  "Win ran off when we were discussing about the lost items, I think its something about his lover" he explained.

  I made a confused expression and looked away. "Bright?" I looked back at him and asked. "Did he said anything about it? Like, what was it all about?"
