Draco Malfoy sat on the couch in the living room of the house he shared with his husband of 10 incredible years, Harry Potter-Malfoy. He sat beside three of their best mates, Pansy Parkinson, her boyfriend Blaise Zambini, and Ron Weasley. The four of them were waiting for Harry and another of their best mates and Ron's wife, Hermione Granger-Weasley, to finally tell them why they were there. Draco had no idea why they had gathered them together after work, but Harry had told him and Ron about the little meeting earlier today at work after Harry had returned to the office from having lunch with Hermione.
Harry had refused to tell them anything else and they had forgotten about it when they had gotten a lead on the case the three of them were working on together. Being an Auror was stressful and oftentimes dangerous but being able to work with his husband and Ron helped. They've been on the trail of a Dark Wizard who had ties to Voldemort for months now, but they were having trouble finding him. The lead they had gotten today was just another dead end and Draco was beyond pissed about it, he had become obsessed with finding the prat; he personally took cases where the Dark Witch or Wizard had ties with Voldemort, it was like his own way of making amends by capturing every last one of Voldemort's followers and throwing them into Azkaban where they belong.
"Alright, guys, Harry and I will now tell you all why we gathered you all here, we promise you'll love it." Hermione said smiling, interrupting Draco's thoughts.
"About bloody time, Mione." Ron said sighing frustratedly as Draco, Pansy, and Blaise agreed.
"Impatient lot, aren't you?" Harry said annoyed as he looked at Hermione who rolled her eyes sighing. "Anyway, today at lunch, Hermione and I were talking and we...we decided that the six of us should all go on a date together. Like...like a double date, but with three couples instead of two." He explained smiling.
"Are you two taking the piss?" Ron asked.
"Really, Ronald." Hermione replied sighing. "We're serious."
"Let us guess, you two have already planned everything out, haven't you?" Pansy asked.
"As a matter of fact, Pans, we have." Hermione replied smiling proudly.
"So, Chosen One, what are we doing on this triple date?" Draco asked as he crossed his arms smirking and leaned back against the couch.
"Well..." Harry began nervously, he wasn't usually a nervous person, years of battling Voldemort taught him how to control his nerves, but truthfully, Draco scared him more than Voldemort ever did.
"Oh, for Merlin's sake, Harry." Hermione said frustrated. "We're going to the Muggle world and we're going to a fair." She said smiling.
Hearing that shocked the three pureblood Wizards who had never been to the Muggle world, let alone to a fair, whatever the bloody hell that was, and honestly, none of them really wanted to go. They looked at each other with shock and confusion before they all looked back at Harry and Hermione who were waiting for their reactions.
"No way, are you two completely daft?" Draco said as they stood.
"Why not?" Harry asked disappointed.
"We're not going, guys, sorry." Pansy replied. "You two go though and have fun for all of us, okay?"
"No, we're all going, dammit." Harry said firmly, surprising all of them, including Hermione. "We get it, going to a fair in the Muggle world doesn't sound like fun to you, but we promise, you'll have a brilliant time. Please, we don't ask you guys to do a lot, but we really want to show you all how much fun a Muggle fair can be."
"Fine, dammit, we'll go, stop with the guilt trip." Blaise said sighing annoyed. "It better be worth it though." He added bitterly.
"Thank you, it will be, we promise." Harry said happily as they hugged them.
