Darkness Inside Pt3

 Draco's feet pounded against the hardwood floors, his breaths coming in gasps as he sprinted through the manor. He had spent nearly all of his life here and knew it like the back of his hand, he knew every nook and cranny, every room and the secrets they held. He knew every painting and piece of furniture, yet somehow he had managed to become lost. The booming thunder overhead rattled the walls and sent vibrations down into Draco's bones - each lightning strike briefly illuminated whatever room he was currently running through. His heart pounded faster with every step, fear coursing through him, and although he couldn't see or hear anyone else with him in the old house, he knew that he wasn't alone.

 He had no idea what was going on or why he was trapped here, he just knew that he couldn't leave no matter how much he wanted to. He was looking for something important, something that was keeping him here in the manor... no, not something, it was someone... Harry! He had to find his husband, he... suddenly, his thoughts were interrupted by the terror-filled painful screams of his husband. Before he could move from his spot, Harry's screams were joined by others in a chorus of pain and fear, dammit, Harry wasn't alone, Ron, Hermione, Pansy, Blaise, Luna, and Ginny were also trapped here.

 He could hear the screams of his family echoing through the hallways, someone was hurting his family, dammit, he had to save them but how and where the hell are they? He knew he had to act fast, so he crept around corners and through empty rooms, staying hidden in the shadows until he reached a dark staircase leading down into the dungeon. Whoever was hurting his family was down there, he knew exactly how many steps it took to get to the bottom, to get to the prat torturing his loved ones. Instinctively he reached for his wand, only to remember it wasn't with him like usual.

 Taking a deep breath, he stepped onto the first stair and slowly went down, his back pressing against the rough stone wall as his breathing and pounding heart filled his ears. Halfway down, a searing pain coming from his arm stopped him, he squeezed his eyes shut tightly and bit his lip to keep himself from screaming so hard he drew blood. Opening his eyes he pulled back his sleeve and saw the familiar symbol etched onto his skin.

 Forcing himself to ignore the pain, he reached the bottom of the stairs and looked around the wall. His loved ones were chained to the stone walls of the chamber, with chains around their wrists and ankles. Bruises covered their faces, and dried blood matted their hair. In the middle of the room stood a figure in a long black cloak, its hood up so that only darkness could be seen beneath it. The person's back was to him—they seemed oblivious to his presence as they slowly tortured their captives, without saying a word. Knowing he couldn't waste any more time, he tiptoed towards them, signalling his loved ones to remain quiet with one finger to his lips.

 He was just steps away from the person when suddenly, he felt himself being forcefully pushed backwards. He slammed against the wall and found himself unable to move as if an invisible force was keeping him pinned there. He struggled to get free, his arm still hurting, the pain was the worst he'd ever felt. He could hear the cries of his loved ones as they begged the person to leave Draco alone. The person turned and slowly walked towards him until they were standing face to face, Draco continued struggling to get free.

 "W-who are you?" Draco demanded.

 Instead of answering, the person slowly raised the sleeve on their left arm to reveal a jet-black tattoo, an exact copy of Draco's Dark mark. Draco's eyes widened in shock as he noticed that the person was holding his wand. How had they taken it without him noticing?

 "How the hell did you get my wand?" Draco demanded.

 "You mean my wand." The man finally spoke. "Don't you recognize me, Draco?" He added as he took off his hood, revealing a smiling... Draco.
