Draco Malfoy for the second time once again questioned his sanity as he stood for the second day in a row in muggle London with his adorable man-child husband of four years, Harry Potter-Malfoy. Why did he agree to let Harry plan their only week off of work together? He couldn't deny that he had enjoyed himself...eventually, yesterday at the aquarium and he had made two new mates with a couple of manatees but he had his doubts about where Harry had taken him to today, the zoo. He wished to Merlin that he had been able to resist Harry and refused to do this but like usual he couldn't. So now he was being forced to spend every day this week doing muggle things all because his husband felt like he had been too sheltered growing up in the Wizarding world. It wasn't that he hated muggles anymore, he just didn't understand them or see what Harry and Hermione found so special about them. Having no magic seemed like it would be boring but Harry and Hermione had assured them that it wasn't, they had other ways of having fun, to Draco it sounded dreadfully boring and common.
He felt Harry take his hand and squeeze it gently as they stood in the fairly long line to pay and go inside, seeing all the people Draco figured that the creatures here must be incredible. Everywhere Draco looked he saw muggles, happy couples and excited muggle families, the children were so excited and it puzzled him why, but judging by their reactions, he decided that this zoo might not be as boring as he first thought. Soon it was their turn to pay, Harry happily took out his wallet and paid with muggle money before he took their tickets. Taking Draco's hand again, they went inside and the first thing that Draco noticed was how noisy it was and what in Merlin's name was that foul smell. He looked at Harry to see if he noticed it but his husband didn't seemed bothered by it as he looked around smiling.
"Is this smell...normal?" Draco asked disgusted.
"It's perfectly normal, love, it's just the animals." Harry replied smiling, as he kissed the side of Draco's head. "So, where do you want to go first?" He asked as he looked around still smiling.
"Why don't you choose first, darling." Draco replied smiling, this was going to be a long day.
"Alright then, let's go see the gorillas first." Harry said as he took Draco's hand.
"What are gorillas?" Draco asked confused.
"You'll see." Harry replied smiling as he winked.
Draco was even more confused than he was before as he was dragged off to a part of the zoo that was called 'Gorilla Kingdom'.
"Are they kings of the creature world?" Draco questioned.
"What?" Harry asked confused as they stopped walking and Harry looked at him.
"Well, that sign said 'Gorilla Kingdom', so does that mean they're the kings of the creature world?"
"No, love." Harry answered laughing a little at his sheltered husband. "That's just the name the zoo gave the enclosure." He explained smiling.
"So, they aren't kings?" Draco clarified, Harry still smiling shook his head no, Draco sighed annoyed. "Well, that's very misleading, they should fix that straight away."
"You're right, love." Harry soothed his husband, trying to keep him from doing or saying something about it, damn he loved this oblivious posh prat.
"We should..."
"Nope." Harry said smiling, cutting Draco off with a kiss. "We aren't doing anything, remember, we're just regular muggles and regular muggles don't pitch a fit over things like this." He reminded Draco.
"Fine." Draco agreed sighing.
"Thank you, Dray." Harry said as he kissed him again. "We're here, let's get closer, you're going to love them." He added as he took Draco's hand and led him over to where the gorillas were kept. "So, what do you think?"
