I think my mind is far too deep. my thoughts feel like sinking through an infinite abyss. Most people are far too shallow, and that's no insult. depth is a fault, because depth is best friends with disconnect. the feeling that everyone is paddling at the surface, while I am miles below. it's not like drowning, i can breathe just fine, but my inner workings are too vast. it means that i will never be understood, unless i can find one as deep as i, as disconnected. The problem here is those who view a blurry world tend to isolate themselves in some effort to find peace. so the drifting ones remain alone, yearning for one another yet never having the energy reach out. you can often find us in art museums, or sitting somewhere with earbuds in. We are art lovers by nature, itching to get lost in some creation. It is often said that most artists are unstable, that is because artists are too deep for their own sanity. stability requires reality, it requires an anchor to the physical world, which are places we are lacking. The deepest people are often the most beautiful thinkers, the most mesmerizing to listen to, but we are also the most tragic, the most covered in scars. Traumas only make one's mind deeper. It's hard to let people close, because most people would drown in me.
