The rest of the ride was silence, they would crack a small conversation but when one or the other didn't reply it would be nothing expect the radio and the wind blowing since yeosang's window was rolled down. It wasn't until they could finally see the tall buildings within the distance; the sun still was up as the birds were chirping, an airplane could be seen in the sky and the trees danced in the wind it wasn't until long they would enter the city and sooner or later, yeosang knew he was finally able to be set free but how could he live in his childhood place if everything scares him because of the things he dealt with and dealt with now? It wasn't until yeosang snapped out of his feelings as wooyoung pulled up into a gas station, yet again..in the middle of nowhere again. They weren't so far from it, just in between by wooyoung had to go. "I'll be back, my gay ass can't hold it!" Wooyoung quickly stumbled out of the car rushing into the gas station super fast, leaving yeosang behind. "Dramatic ass." He mumbled to himself, the gas station wasn't packed obviously since it was in the middle of nowhere but he hated the feeling that haunted him and stuck with him. This was how he exactly met San.

He hated how everything mostly reminded him of San, but being in a gas station was the worse; every move he made he did it with caution but now he wouldn't have too, right? The two were gone and won't come back for once and for good they wouldn't have to worry, although not everything is covered; it still made yeosang happy he was able to escape not only with himself but with his best friend. Even though there were times he was upset at him and didn't know rather to trust him nowadays are not, it made him very happy to know he can now.
Even if it scared him sometimes, without him he could be dead completely.
Literally.

Or would he still end up dead?

Yeosang kicked his feet, waiting and waiting; he checked his phone but nothing seemed to interest him, he looked around and found nothing that entertained him; "Geez wooyoung you take longer than a girl." Yeosang mumbled, but the sound of sirens interrupted him he flung to look over his shoulder through his window to hear them getting closer and closer; when they got even closer and then when he saw what was making it, police cars pulled into the gas station. Anxiously, he looked away taking a deep breath before looking right in front of him; there wasn't just one, not two but three of them. His head started pounding when he thought about the worst case scenario, if they saw him he would screwed, him and wooyoung would be screwed. But with the sound of footsteps coming behind him, he took a deep breath before he looked to see a cop coming to him, with a pen and a little pad.

The panic racing into me and rising higher and higher, what if they were going to arrest him and wooyoung? What if they were going to bring them both in questioning? What if it was the worst case scenario.

"Hello there, sir. We just have a few questions to ask about a few new disappearances around thr local area. I'll also like to inform you we're looking for this man named Choi San, he was last seen at the place we're investigating still as we speak. But he ran away with a few people and we only have information about the two, would you know where he was or-" The police officer stopped as the two made eye contact, yeosang coughed nervously before shaking his head; he didn't know what to say or dare say he knows San or knew him because he doesn't know what they would do to not only him but wooyoung who was along with him. With the confidence he had to lie he spoke. "I don't who that is or where he is, I'm sorry but I hope you guys catch him soon." yeosang faked a small smile as the cop nodded, writing down some things that made him anxious. did he know he was lying? what was so important to write down?

"Have you ever ran away from a cop before?" A sudden question spooked yeosang.

"Pardon? What was that? I-I didn't hear it, I zoned out."

"Have you ever broke the law? Ran away from police? Been involved with a murder? Oh also I need your name just in case for some things." Yeosang answered all of them to a no; he never did...until he met San. He felt like he was sweating now since he was so anxious and scared, he wanted wooyoung to come out now; what was he suppose to do? Lie to them? Give a fake name or be honest and spend life behind bars? But like a god angel sent, wooyoung came out; a small smile on his face as he walked towards the car with a bunch of snacks. "hello to you too, sir. I just asked whoever this may be to you a few questions, I'll like to ask you too." he asked wooyoung who gave the same answers as yeosang until, he decided to point at yeosang and explain. "Actually we have one friend who knows him..but they disappeared." The police officer asked where they were or last seen but wooyoung didn't have that info, well...he did but he knew what he was doing.

"Alright thank you two both, the info isn't as useful as I thought it would be but to be far that man is just like his father. He could easily get away before we caught him but we have him wanted everywhere almost in the entire world. Needless to say I still need your guy's names just in case." Wooyoung gave yeosang a look, he was nervous and fear could be seen in his eyes but without any care or hesitation wooyoung answered. "His name is Kang yeosang, I'm Jung wooyoung." The pen writing it down made yeosang just want to confess to everything, if they caught San..he could rat them both out so they both could suffer, but in yeosang's offence his was in self defense but on San's case, it wasn't. "And last question, where did y'all come from?"

"We came from there, after you pass the first house there's another road that leads to a neighbourhood. That's where we came from."  Yeosang bit his lip, wooyoung was lying as bad as possible but he could keep a straight face; yeosang couldn't. He was happy the officer was now asking him things instead of him. "Alright, thank you. We'll check that place out and ask questions...between us that, it would be too obvious for people like this person to hide there." The police officer chuckled before thanking the two as he walked back to the car, wooyoung shoved himself in the driver seat as the two looked at each other, speaking at the same time.

"Why would you say that?! He will find him and now we'll be taken away!"

"Shh I know you're afraid and scared but if they do check there, They would obviously see them coming, yeo. I know what I'm doing besides we have proof against San. He can't get us arrested."

"Tsk, yeah right. We just lied to a cop, woo. A FUCKING COP!!"

Wooyoung rolled his eyes, putting the snacks down; before intertwining their hands together. yeosang was shaking as he was scared to live behind bars for things he didn't know or ever think once in his life it would happen; Wooyoung helped him relax with taking deep breaths before talking softly to smooth the other.

"Look yeo, I know what I'm doing. You promised to trust me, and if they try to get us arrested I have things up my sleeve. You wanted this and I'm trying to help but if you don't man up and trust me; this will all go downhill into you being all alone, do you want that?"

"No...I don't but woo- I don't want San to be taken away-"

"And why not?"

"I...I just still love him, woo. It's so hard."

"Yeo, you can't go back. You made this choice now you have to deal with the things that come next."
